edjr 6,588 Posted February 28, 2007 Denial ain't just a river in Egypt... you're right it isn't, but who denied Bond's did steroids? certainly not me. I'm still a fan of Bonds and always will be, but until you convince me he was the only one in MLB to do steroids, you and no one else have any business complaining about only him. MDC 7,426 Posted February 28, 2007 until you convince me he was the only one in MLB to do steroids, you and no one else have any business complaining about only him. Bonds wasn't the only one to do steroids but of every active player in baseball he's done the most to ruin the integrity of the sport.

Why would I try and convince you he was the only one taking them, that's absurd as 9-10% have been failing the tests since instituted. But because a handful of players may have taken them, I can't question his integrity and all others who took them?

I'm sick and tired of everyone just using his name and no one else when mentioning steroids.

KSB2424 3,148 Posted February 28, 2007 While I'm sure Barry did steroids, where did you get that info from? I bet it was from those two guys making money off of "Game of Shadows" in which they will not reveal any of their sources. Barry has always been 6'2". It is hard for me to believe that a 6'2" guy wore a size 10 shoe.

Growth hormone, while undetectable by testing, not only makes your muscles grow, but makes your skeletal system grow, as well. That's why Bonds looks like he has a pumpkin for a head. I can't wait until all his drug taking has the Lyle Alzado effect. Die, pussie, die!

Die, pussie, die! newbie, you are one of the dumbest posters to have ever post on this board, if you think Lyle Alzado's cancer and death had anything to do with steroids. don't doctors give steroids to patients as treatment for cancer and other ailments? you focking idiot. you think they are trying to kill them? KSB2424 3,148 Posted February 28, 2007 And how in the world was this information gathered? I mean seriously, I wear a 9 1/2 in a bedroom slipper , an 11 in a dress shoe, and an 11 1/2 in a basketball shoe. Not only that but, I notice I wear different shoe sizes depending on the name brand. (i.e. Nike, Adidas, ect.). Next thing you know we will be hearing how he can now breathe fire and leap small buildings in a single bound.

It is hard for me to believe that a 6'2" guy wore a size 10 shoe. I'm 6'2" and wear a 10.5, that's not too crazy. Buuuut I think someone's foor growing three full sizes sounds a little odd. Maybe a size or even 1.5, but three sizes? If the shoe doesn't fit, you must-a quit (the steroids).

parrot 789 Posted February 28, 2007 don't doctors give steroids to patients as treatment for cancer and other ailments? you focking idiot. you think they are trying to kill them? Yeah, and all steroids are the same. And there's no difference between a doctor setting up a prescribed steroid cycle and a jock shooting himself up. Also, morphine and other narcotics must not be dangerous to the layperson since doctors give them to patients.
NewbieJr 541 Posted February 28, 2007 Lyle Alzado died of CANCER you nitwit. Smarten the fock up. Alzado, Lyle Martin b. 1949. d. 1992. Football player. He played for the Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns and the LA Raiders. Lyle, a true defensive standout for the Broncos, was the first Yankton College (South Dakota) player ever drafted by the NFL and was a two-time all conference pick. From those humble beginnings, his combination of quickness and strength, provided Lyle with the pass-rushing skills to start with the Broncos in 1971. His 4.75 40-yard dash time, coupled with his tremendous strength - Lyle once had 27 wins as an amateur boxer - ranked Lyle as one of pro football's top pass rushers. His status as a premier defensive lineman was also enhanced by his versatility - he played both end and tackle in the front four with All-pro status. Lyle Alzado was 42 when he died of brain cancer. An American football SuperBowl hero with the Los Angeles Raiders in the 1984, Alzado owned a restaurant in West Hollywood and had embarked on a career as a movie actor when he died in 1992 after going public. "I started taking anabolic steroids in 1969 and never stopped," he admitted during his pain-racked final days. "It was addicting, mentally addicting. Now I'm sick, and I'm scared. Ninety per cent of the athletes I know are on the stuff. We're not born to be 300lbs or jump 30ft. But all the time I was taking steroids, I knew they were making me play better. I became very violent on the field and off it. I did things only crazy people do. Once a guy sideswiped my car and I beat the hell out of him. Now look at me. My hair's gone, I wobble when I walk and have to hold on to someone for support, and I have trouble remembering things. My last wish? That no one else ever dies this way." Riverview Cemetery, Portland, Oregon, USA. Cause of Death: Brain cancer brought on by excessive steroid use. Hey Edjr. Stop talking out of your ass.
