Just recently saw it also. Agree with the over-rated part, but man some of those moments were hysterical. I found nearly everything with the bear hysterical.

 

The dinner party was pretty great too.

I agree - the talk of "academy snub" is ridiculous.

 

that said, I laughed my ass off. the wrestling scene was hard to watch, but it was focking COMEDY. I was dying laughing.

It was deffinently a funny movie, a little bit less than i expected because i expected it to be maybe the funniest movie i ever saw, but, it was maybe top 10-15. Yeah, the wresting scene was pretty gross.

 

Funniest part?? There were a few that brought tears to my eyes, the part were they stay with the jews and get all paranoid was one of them. The dinner party was another, feminists party one another, there were probably others. If you saw the deleted scenes, the one where he went to the dog pound was LMAO funny.

I thought the movie was hilarious. I liked the jew family part.

 

Download some clips from the Ali G show, they're pretty funny. He gets one guy from Texas who runs a hunting range where they put food out and when the deers come to eat they shoot em. He got him to say that he wished you could hunt jews. Or when he goes to a country club and starts singing a song, "Throw the jew down the well."

 

I heard they're gonna make a movie out of his bruno character, any truth to that?

Me too, i don't see how you can have a sense of humor and not think that movie was at least somewhat funny. I can see if maybe you were jewish(LMAO), and the nakked fight scene was pretty gross, but, was still funny. I would probably rank it in my top 10 funniest movies, but, top 5 is a push. It was slightly less funnier than i thought it would be, but, still really funny.
