phillybear 366 Posted March 15, 2007 I just finished rewatching the last couple of episodes, and read a few spoilers. Tonight's episode will not be pivotal, but the theme will be betrayal. Actually, the next two episodes will be VERY interesting. Next week should show connections between several Losties before the crash. Hell, we will see one tonight, which will not be a surprise if you paid attention in Season 2. And then we get a Nikki and Paulo episode flashback 2 weeks from now. Yeah, I know, groan. But that Nikki and Paulo episode should be fascinating, because it will show scenes from the first 2 and a half seasons from the point of view of background characters observing the main characters. That is a great idea for an episode. I hope none of this was spoiler material. I don't think it was. By the way, seems like we can gleam certain foreshadowing even in the midst of lies. The tarot card reader was a fake, but she told Hugo that "War was coming". I think this was true. Dmitri spewed a lot of info before his capture, and I think there was a lot of truths there. I think this is a way for the writers to tell us what is happening. When the speaker is caught lying, automatically we discard everything they said. But I believe that there are kernels of truth to their statements. By the Dmitri was studying a script last week, which Locked looked over. Remember the magic marker words on the papers. Also, Locke NEVER ACHIEVED A CHECKMATE. Believe me. I paused at all the right scenes. And I was a nationally ranked chess player in high school. Locke did not get a checkmate. The bishop could move in front of the rook on the last row, and was protected by the knight. In other words, Locke had the computer on the ropes, but was a number of moves away from a POSSIBLE checkmate. Dmitri and Mrs Klugh's Russian dialogue, and I speak Russian, was basically along the lines, "You know what you have to do, There is another way, You know what you have to do, No, No you must do it, Forgive me, *Bang*" Anyway, my one man viewing party is officially kicked off again this week, with my first drink down the hatch. But yea, no teeth whatsoever around the ###### area. I'm a sucker for dark hair though. The only chick that i have seen with both black/dark hair and blond/light brown hair and thought the lighter hair looked better on was that chick from the OC who's on the black donnelys now. Keep in mind that the inference, right now, seems to be that these events have transpired repetitively over time. They have varied during each occurence, but the timeline is on some kind of loop.
