Illegals bring back bedbugs

Recommended Posts

linkage

Nearly eradicated in the United States 50 years ago, resistant strains of "super" bedbugs are infesting mattresses at an alarming rate. In what's being touted as the biggest mystery in entomology, all 50 states are reporting outbreaks of the blood-sucking nocturnal critters.

Pest control companies nationwide reported a 71 percent increase in bedbug calls between 2000 and 2005. Left alone, a few bedbugs can create a colony of thousands within weeks.

"We never treated bedbugs until 2002. Now we have a dedicated bedbug crew working on this every day," said Luis Agurto, president of Pestec in San Francisco.

See what I have been telling you. These criminals don't get checked out for diseases or anything because they come across the border and don't get checked out. Just one of many reason we should get harsh on Illegal alians.

There are several diseases making a comeback in the U.S. as a result of illegal immigration. The number of reasons to properly deal with the illegal immigration problem are numerous and this is just another one. Illegal immigrant apologists hide behind generalities without substantiation while those of us who have researched the issue are actually aware of their true impact.

Obviously when the Messicans tuck their kids in and say "Goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite" in Spanish, our non-bilingual bedbugs can't understand.

So nobody has traveled and stayed in a buget inn/motel within the last 20 or so years? Wise up, the only thing that has changed is illegal immigration. Google it with "disease" and you might learn something.

Illegal immigrants have been coming to the US for many many years. HTH

Here is an article about the increase in bed bugs: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/20...13_bedbugs.html

No one is blaming the messicans in australia and in the uk where bedbugs were also basically extinct in the 1980's.

I hope you learned something today. Maybe you and your friends can stop throwing stones at the immigrants now. HTH

What about the TB?

Oh, and from your own link,

Yet, he says, the precise cause or causes of the problem are yet to be determined.

What about TB? Not sure what the question is. A lot of immigrants have TB. This is about Bed Bugs. The TB rate in the US is the lowest since it has been since recording started in 1953. It peaked in 1992. Not sure what your question was.

TB, amongst other diseases that had been receding in the US, is on the rise and that rise is attributed to illegal immigration. HTH.

Provisional data from 2006 showed 13,767 tuberculosis cases were reported in the United States, or 4.6 per 100,000 population, the CDC said, representing a 3.2% decline from 2005.

It's very possible that overall the rate is still declining. However, It's surging in areas with large illegal immigrant populations and, since these diseases are contagious, much like illegal immigration itself if we don't do something now by the time we acknowledge the problem it will be very widespread and harder to contain.

Even a congressman, on an official gov't website, acknowledges the issue:
