Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted June 20, 2007 of course Nike isn't going to drop him, they already exploit 3rd world country labor, employing sweatshops to produce $2 sneakers that poor inner city kids kill for because they can't afford the $150 Nike sells them for... why would they care if Vick is involved in dog fighting?? They already have shown they have no moral fiber... Nike cares if Vick is in dog fighting. They care very much. If there's potential for bad PR and as a result a loss in $$$$, Nike cares a sh!t load. They're letting it go right now but if there's evidence that Vick is guilty of being a major part in this Nike will drop him in a heartbeat.
Gepetto 1,292 Posted June 20, 2007 Also what are you 14? Bragging about overpaying for sneakers. No. And that's not overpaying. They are priced a lot higher now if you can even find them in that color in size 11.
Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted June 20, 2007 No. And that's not overpaying. They are priced a lot higher now if you can even find them in that color in size 11.5 I can get 3 damn good pairs of shoes for what you paid for 1.
Gepetto 1,292 Posted June 20, 2007 I can get 3 damn good pairs of shoes for what you paid for 1. So can I. But I'm talking about a specific shoe that is no longer produced, and in a specific color: pic - and those aren't even they exact shoe/colorscheme. The ones I have are light gray in the front matching the rest of the shoe. I couldn't even find the exact shoe on the internet.

I agree with you! It's great that you adopt Greyhounds, I assume you live in Florida. I used to live in St. Augustine. Originally from PA and moved down in 77-78 and had to move back to PA because my mother was dying. We go back down every so often and I'm itching to go this summer. cyeaser 3 Posted June 22, 2007 ok so here goes my 2 cents... i DONT adopt any dogs, cats or any other animals ...i do have 2 purebread johnson american bulldogs who are like my children......the MISCONSEPTION i think for some people that PITBULLS were made to be fighting dogs ( which is very inaccurate) pitbulls do fight if they are trained, same as american bulldogs, sheppards, rotts, akitas, ###### any DOG or ANIMAL you train to fight WILL fight.......... i been around some of the most peacful pitbulls you would ever know....all animals just want attention and to be cared for.....the FACT remains WHO in the FUK enpowered MIKE VICK, or any other person to dictate the life and death of this or any other animal???? because he paid the animal...that makes it right.....im sure there are many more decent animals roaming then there are humans....... fuk mike vick and his fantasy football value (he sucks anyways) its a matter of humanity...i WOULD PAY to see mike vick and his buddy who stated "its his dog let him do what he wants with it" comment clinton portis fight to the death...........59.99 on pay per view.....i would buy it today.. thats thier values fine with me, i can only control my actions and i will tell you this....if ANYONE hurt or tried to hurt either of my dogs i would in prison for many years...........it was my choice to buy these dogs and i will take care of them...........its just savage to watch, want to watch, or be any part of that cruel barbaric type of ######................. Nitsugua 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Whether Michael Vick is found guilty or not, his image is tarnished forever in the public eye. Love him or hate him, he's done. IMO he's a piece of crap, but just like O.J. there are people that will never believe he was a part of the crime. The difference between Dogs & humans fighting is dogs will fight to the death, hence the thrill for people like Michael Vick. There is no referee getting in the middle of the fight to stop it. We're all guilty of cheering him on in the NFL & buying the product he endorses. Any fine of less than $1,000,000 is nothing to him. Hit him where it hurts, his pockets. Either that hope he falls and breaks both his legs. IMO. This has nothing to do with Fantasy Football, just my opinion on a person and yes Paris Hilton deserves more time in jail. cyeaser 3 Posted June 24, 2007 well in dogfights maybe not a referee, but there is someone who starts and ends the fights...another problem with that is when a dog loses, the dog is left for dead , left to fin for itself when it only knows how to attack not survive....... also the difference is i would let paris hilton blow me....even with jail time

No we are not all guilty of cheering him on and buying anything he endorses, I like many other posters never thought he was any good as a QB. He is nothing more than a selfish punk that always puts himself first. Atlanta will never go anywhere with him at QB. He will get jail time and his NFL career will be over. The first review occurred in April after the initial raid on the Virginia property.
