mighty_thor 115 Posted June 6, 2007 Al Gore was at a book signing two blocks away from my office. I didn't go to it but I walked by that corner at lunchtime and there were a lot of people wearing Al Gore 2008 T-shirts. It got me thinking. I bet he would have a good chance to win if he ran for the Democrat nomination. Hillary has a lot of money but she is not very inspiring and none of the other canidates look like real heavyweights either.
IndyTom 0 Posted June 6, 2007 Al is known for one thing - the environment. So...no, he has no shot to win the primaries, let alone the presidency. However, should a Dem win the office, I am sure he would be happy to serve as some sort of Earth Czar.
Recliner Pilot 61 Posted June 6, 2007 Algore couldn't win a 400 meter race against Rosie O'Bunghole if he was given a 100 meter head start and rode the last 100 meters in one of his miriad stretch Limos he uses to go from his carbon-engulfing mansion to his exhaust-belching private jet. Born loser that Al is.
Uh-huh 0 Posted June 6, 2007 Too bad Gore won't run alongside Hillary. They would win overwhemingly. President Gore/Vice President Clinton, and Secretary of State Clinton. The right-wing nincompoops' worst nightmare come true.

IndyTom 0 Posted June 7, 2007 He won once. I don't see why he couldn't win again. Al didn't even win his own district or State. If his hometown people don't even like him, why should I?
Cdub100 3,903 Posted June 7, 2007 If he didn't go all nutty the last few years I think he could win. that being said, so far nobody is looking all that good on either side so by name recognition alone he would have a very good shot
