RamslovaMartzhata 3 Posted August 28, 2007 I took Jacobs @ 1.12... it will be viewed as a steal by season's end. Halfof the runningbacks taken in the first two rounds will not finish in the top 20 Lamont Jordan will win value pick of the year. Kitna will be the #1 fantasy QB Gates will have numbers as good as the top tier WR's. Vince Young will not be a good fantasy QB, but not too bad either... but he will be a good real world QB. Bush will show everyone why I've been pimping him from day 1, and prove worthy of my man crush
DEEZNUTS 18 Posted August 28, 2007 Brandon Jackson top 3 in Rookie of the Year voting Vernon Davis leads all TE's in TD's Vince Young rushes for 10 TD's / 800 yards, passes for 14 TD's / 2500 yards Culpepper wins Comeback Player of the Year
GiantsRule 0 Posted August 29, 2007 Ahmad Bradshaw will be the Giants starting RB by Week 9 (hey, if you're going to make predictions, might as well go WAY out there) Travis Henry won't make it through Week 2 before he suffers a season-ending injury (disclaimer: I own Travis Henry in my big money league) Jay Cutler will hit a sophomore slump Brady Quinn will be the starting QB for Cleveland by Week 5 and will win ROY honors Calvin Johnson will prove that even can't miss prospects can miss (600 yards & 4 TDs; will be the #3 WR behind Roy Williams & Mike Furrey by Week 10) Brett Favre will have his consecutive game streak broken at some point during the season Daunte Culpepper will lose more fumbles than Oakland will score TDs Detroit will finish the season 4-12 and Matt Millen STILL won't get fired (if he wins 6 games, he'll get another extension) San Francisco will win the NFC West Randy Moss will return to his elite status (1,500 yards and 16 TDs) If nothing else, this will be interesting to goof on by Week 17! cblue 0 Posted September 5, 2007 1) LJ will not be a top 6 FF RB this year. 2) The Chargers will beat the Bears, Patriots, Colts and Ravens this year. 3) Harrison will retire after this season. 4) P. Manning will miss at least one game due to injury. (Merriman gives him a consussion) 5) Matt Millen finally gets fired!
SaintsInDome2006 128 Posted September 5, 2007 I'll take a shot: 1. Surprise QB: J. P. Losman 2. Surprise RB: Norwood and/or DeAngelo Williams emerge. 3. Surprise WR: David Patten, Lance Moore, Kevin Curtis or Braylon Edwards. 4. Surprise Team to do poorly: San Diego 5. Surprise Team to do well: Miami 6. Surprise team to take it all: New Orleans Saints (big surprise, right?). Admittedly on a 40-year losing streak on this one, but if they do to Indy what they did to Dallas last year, watch out. BoltAddiction 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Terrell Owens = No melt down, ends up top 3 WR and returns to full punk form next off season. Torry Holt = Listed as questionable every week, is in for 14 games and ends up with less than 1,000 yard and less than 10 tds Brandon Jacobs only rushes for 1050 yards, but gets 13 TDs Travis Henry produces his 10th, 11th and 12th....................kids. Torque666 0 Posted September 5, 2007 -Scaife will be a top 7 TE-Snelling will rush for 7 Td's -Welker will lead the Pats in reception with at least 85 -Benson will be a bust -Both Duece and Reggie will improve upon last seasons stats -Ahmad Bradshaw will replace Droughns as Jacob's primary backup -Vince Young will end the Madden curse DOH!! Jason Snelling-RB- Falcons Sep. 3 - 4:38 pm et Falcons waived RB Jason Snelling. The seventh-round pick from Virginia played well during training camp, but Atlanta felt Artose Pinner was more ready to contribute. Snelling could be claimed by a team looking for a goal-line back with receiving ability. Artose Pinner-RB- Falcons Sep. 3 - 4:28 pm et Falcons claimed RB Artose Pinner off waivers from the Vikings and waived RB Jason Snelling. 1. David Martin: Martin may not be as talented as such TEs as Gates & Gonzalez, but between Cam Cameron's history with Antonio Gates and Trent Green's love for the TE (Tony Gonzalez) will help David Martin break into the top 5 for TEs. Good luck with that rofl, i watched him for 6 painfull years at GB, i dont see him becoming a better player than he has been
Torque666 0 Posted September 5, 2007 1. I predict over 50% of these predictions will be wrong!
Ziro 0 Posted September 5, 2007 1. David Martin: Martin may not be as talented as such TEs as Gates & Gonzalez, but between Cam Cameron's history with Antonio Gates and Trent Green's love for the TE (Tony Gonzalez) will help David Martin break into the top 5 for TEs. 2. Donovan McNabb: Not only will Donovann McNabb stay healthy this year, but he will bring the Eagles to the NFC Championship game and maybe even to the SuperBowl. All this while sitting atop ALL Fantasy Footballs QBs. 3. Joseph Addai: Believe it or not, The story in Indianapolis will be as much about Joseph Addai as it is Payton Manning by seasons end. Now don't get me wrong, I still have Addai behind Tomlinson and Steven Jackson, but not by far, and of course, Payton Manning will still be Payton Manning. But Addai is the real deal and will shine as Indy runs through the season on thier way to winning thier second straight Super Bowl. 4. LaMont Jordan: Yeah, ok, I'm sipping the LaMont Juice here. With nobody else around early in the season, LaMont, who had a taste of what it's like to be a top 10 back in 2005, will take full advantage early. He will get off to a great start and by seasons end will be sitting in a top 10 RB spot. 5. Larry Johnson: This is not a very good Kansas City team and they will only go as far as Larry Johnson will take them, which will not be far. Everyone that passed on LJ early will be happy that they did, while those that were happy he dropped to them at the 7th, 8th or even the 9th pick will wish he didn't fall to them. 6. Vincent Jackson: Not as much of a secret this year, but I think Jackson winds up just outside the top 10. The only thing that will keep Vincent Jackson from breaking the top 10 this year is that there are to many options in SanDiego. With Tomlinson, Gates, Jackson and Craig Davis, Philip Rivers can prctically just throw the ball in the air every play. All in all, this will be a nice breakout year for this second year WR. 7. Andre Johnson: will break the top 5 this year and make a push for the top WR spot, before falling behind Terrell Owens and Steve Smith. This may not be much of a prediction for the guy who led all AFC WRs in targets (164) and receptions (103) last year. Johnson will click with new QB Matt Schuab and will finally get the double digit TDs to go along with the receptions and yardage which will help him push for the top WR slot. Kitsnow 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Matt Schaub and Ben Rothlessberger will be top 10 qb's. If Jacoby Jones wins the 2nd wr spot early he'll be this years Colston. Ahman Green Best 5th round selected Running back. Caddy will not have a comeback but will do better than last year. Shawn Alexander scores 16 TD's +/- 3 Zach Miller Ends up a top 12 TE. Kellen Clemens starts at least 2 games and does well.
Jimmy 0 Posted September 5, 2007 (My third and final attempt at this post. I'm beginning to think it wasn't meant to be...) I was going to make a comment about Schaub contracting Rob Johnsonitis, but realized that wasn't much of a bold prediction..

Wayne is the best WR in Indy. Adrian Peterson is rookie of the year. Jacoby Jones will reward his drafters. Antonio Chatman is comeback player of the year. Ladell Betts is a better fantasy RB in 2007 than Portis. Portis will never be able to take back the damage. Lendale White is the best RB in Tennessee. MJDrew is the #1 RB in JAX. MadLove 0 Posted September 5, 2007 1.) Vince Young, if he remains healthy throughout the regular season, throws for over 3000 yds. and runs for just under 900. Total TDs between 25-28... unsure of the split pass-to-rush (ok - 65% in the air). 2.) Ladell Betts outscores Portis 2:1 in total fantasy pts this year. 3.) Donte Stallworth goes apestuff - 1,300/11 4.) Bush gets hurt in the first 3 weeks - Deuce goes on to have a great year, ending up a Top 10 RB. 5.) Peyton Manning finishes as the 3rd-best QB this year 6.) Trent Green finishes as a Top-8 QB - Ronnie Brown ends up a Top-8 RB 7.) Adrian Peterson becomes the starter for CHI around Week 4... runs for over 1,000 yds and 8+ TDs 8.) Edge runs for 1400 yds and 14 TDs 9.) Roy Williams ends up a Top-3 WR 10.) FreddieMercury 0 Posted September 5, 2007 OK, let me take a crack -- - The #1 fantasy WR will be Terrell Owens. His finger's healed, he's got a good young arm in Romo, and he has something to prove, so we'll see the Focused TO we saw during Philly's Super Bowl year. It will be his last good year, but it will be a monster year. - Travis Henry will be at least a top 10 back, maybe a top 5. - Vince Young will get hurt in midseason, and the Madden Curse will continue. - Rex Grossman will not be the Bears' starting QB by December. - AFC Championship will be San Diego vs. Cincinnatti. NFC Championship will be 49ers and Cowboys, just like the early 90's. That's all I got.

cmh6476 783 Posted September 14, 2007 Big deal 600 yards each is easy. Bernard Berrian will be a top 10 WR. Eli Manning will shut up all the critics. Lamont Jordan will be a second round pick next year. (i.e. will finish top 15 this year). Chad Johnson will be this year's #1 WR. Atlanta Falcons make the playoffs, behind Joey Harrington's "comeback player of the year" season. gawd damn I hope you are right, my 10 team starting lineup looks like: McNabb (Cutler, A Smith) Gore Jordan (beating J lewis and Caddy at this point) C Johnson Owens Berrian Mare San Diego
bno70_1 0 Posted December 4, 2007 This isn't the place to go on and on, but list just a couple of your lead pipe locks for this season. That way we'll know who was right, and who's wearing the @ss hat come season's end. mine: LJ will be a top 3 back and all who pass on him for Addai, Gore, etc will suffer the shame of it all. MJD will score more fantasy points this year than Bush. (excluding PPR) Anyone who uses a first or second round pick on Henry will be very dissapointed when it's all said and done. 1. Completely wrong. Gore was bad too, but Addai >>>>>>>>> LJ. 2. Correct. 3. Correct. 2 out of 3, but the problem is I went all in on LJ in dynasty league and wow did it hurt. bno70_1 0 Posted December 4, 2007 One more for me: Brandon Jacobs will have over 1400 total yards and 11 Td's. Doesn't look good for this one. Good thing he didn't fall to me like I was hoping for. Final tally for Bno: 2 out of 4.
