ever get in a fight with the spouse but you were so smashed you

Recommended Posts

This paragraph is a microcosm of this thread. Despite everything you've said, you think it really isn't that bad, even though you got into a shouting match about youdontevenreallyremember and your attempted resolution was to get dropped off at a bar. You completely lack the ability or willingness to empathize with your wife and what she was going through during this fight. Then you say you can control it in the future, which is a crock of shiot because you don't even acknowledge the problem so you won't try to control anything.

But he does point out to her that he gets to go out and play cards/get loaded and she does all the junk with the kids!!!

I am sure that she appreciates that he points out how she needs a break, then says, "Welp, I am going to play cards and get drunk!!! Bye!!!"

Fock all of you motherfockers. Bunch of holier-than-thou focksticks with oh-so-great focking lives. Fock you.

Blackouts have been a key part of CMH's life in the last three years. They have taken him to places he never would have gone before. They have introduced him to people he never would have met.

But most importantly, they have most definitely kept him from blowing his focking haid off.

Go back to your great focking lives and plop your fat asses on your great focking couches.

Again I say, fock you.

Yeah, I've done it probably 3 times (between the ages of 19-21). Shots and hard liquar did it for me...I tried "hanging" with the guys drinking wise and soon learned that was a bad idea. Now 30fbt has to drag me to the bar to drink, I'd rather go to the gym or get a massage. I'm getting too old for that cr@p.

And let's not forget: fat!@#@!

You ever drink 18 beers out of a Frisbee?

It is, as the kids say, "the bomb".

Hey cmh,

You mentioned that today is the anniversary of your dad's death. I just wanted to give you my condolences for your loss and the pain you are going through. I lost my dad when I was 18, in fact his birthday would have been this past Wednesday. I talked to my mom Monday and she mentioned the (then) upcoming date. She also told me a story I had never heard; the year he was born 9/5 was labor day, and every labor day he would tell people "my mom was in labor on labor day." Corny yes, but that is the point of many family memories. :ninja:

I encourage you to spend tonight with your mom and family, to relive and share such stories, and to celebrate his legacy. You don't need alcohol to do that. :pointstosky:

Good luck.

cmh, I'm sorry for killing this attention-ho thread by deviating from my usual tough love approach to you. Hopefully my above post provided some positive useful info.

I'd sincerely like to hear about your sober night with your family like I indicated. :overhead:
