Purely irresponsible blatant speculation

Recommended Posts

Subject has been tossed around a bit lately (read: on TDZ yesterday when FFToday was unaccessible for me). Being completely speculative and irresponsible....who do you think shows up on that report.

I've guessed Roger Clemens, Pudge Rodriguez, Scott Rolen, Randy Johnson, Kerry Wood, David Eckstein :nono: , and Matt Anderson

Who do you got?

Clemens was just reported as being in the report...on Mike and Mike.

It said he used it with the Yankees and before he got to the Yankees.

Looking for link

He probably started after Boston ran his a$$ out of town, then the Blue Jays picked him up..

How do you go from washed up to winning four more Cy Youngs?

There was a leaked story that no Mets are on the report but a number of Yankees are on the report.

Couple things from the Bergen Record by Bob Klapisch. No mention of names in this article.

Bergen Record

The official, who spoke to a third party who'd seen the final report, predicted, "It's going to be a rough day in the Bronx" after the identities are made public.

No Mets from the current 40-man roster are named, according to the same source.

There's also clear evidence Mitchell is a Red Sox fan: he was caught by a Newsday reporter this spring at Fenway wearing a Sox jacket and hat, obtaining autographs for his son.

As one official said on Wednesday, "For everyone's sake, there [had] better be some Red Sox players on that list."

Bagwell, Gagne, Frank Thomas, Robin Ventura, Mark Prior, Nomar

I always thought frank Thomas was one of the clean ones who was hurt most by steroids. Before guys starting bulking up he was the best hitter in the game. He looks like he is naturally big and he his numbers never jumped dramatically.

He is one that I was on the fence about, he did play football at Auburn, so he has always been big. Its just that he started to get some weird injuries, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was.

Anyone know when the list is to be made public?

He has never hid the fact that he is a Red Sox fan. I think he is on their board.

As a Red Sox fan I can think of a few possibilities of former and current Sox: Trot Nixon, Varitek, Nomar, Gabe Kapler, Kevin Millar. I hope Big Papi is not on the list. I doubt Manny is. He has always been a consistently good hitter since he came in the league and his power numbers never jumped much.

Try living in Houston, where Roger is a god, nobody listened to me. They're weird about their baseball here. They say that Bagwell can't be on Steroids, that Biggio is the greatest second baseman to play the game (while he was never the best in the National league central..)

no, what you were saying is "why does bonds get criticized about steroid use more than clemens?" the answer is pretty obvious but you never want to let it go.

Rich Garces?

Didn't the bullpen catcher just push him and he'd roll to the mound?
