The previous 2 we all thought he would/should/most likely retire. Now this year, after a great last season, with a young good team. He suddenly retires?? Damn you Madden. Along with Dan Marino, John Elway, Joe Montana, Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, etc, etc? Oh yeah! THEY RETIRED AND ARE NO LONGER RELEVANT! Just like Favre. Wouldn't it be cool if there were a group of players listed as retirees (Favre being one of them) that you could coax out of retirement with money, playing time, situational stuff, etc? I haven't played Madden in years so not sure if they have this as an option, but if not, I certainly think it would be kinda cool. Maybe that makes me a dork, I dunno.
