I was listening to Colin Cowherd talk about this guy on his radio show this morning and he made the case that Clemens couldn't gain the public's respect after what's been revealed over the past many months. I'm not sure if I agree with that: Rob Lowe had an affair with a minor and is accepted and successful, although Cowherd said that America is forgiving EXCEPT when the guy lectures other people about morality (as he did in the McNamee case). Do you think Clemens will ever overcome this?

Clemens is screwed. He should have just done what Giambi did, came clean and moved on. Instead he tried to fight the powers and the powers came back and bit him right in the AS$.

 

After the BS he pulled leaving Boston and recommitting himself to getting in shape (by cheating) he rubbed it in their faces. It gives me no greater pleasure to see him get dragged through the mud.
