cbfalcon 825 Posted July 17, 2008 We're making decent time now. if we can avg 1 round every 2 days, we'll do fine. I'll bet we get 2 rounds a day done during the week...then it slows down on weekends. That will take us into mid-august probably.
cbfalcon 825 Posted July 17, 2008 7 is late. Frank Gore before tom brady? I was hoping Brady would fall to 9. Then I was going to take Manning at 16. Then the plan was to make them have sex with one another.

mobb_deep 920 Posted July 17, 2008 7 is late. Frank Gore before tom brady? Hey, let's not critique other peoples fraft! Frank Gore is 25, low mileage, and in line for a HUGE workload (especially receptions) under the Martz system. He also plays in a ridiculously easy conference and has a very favorable schedule against the run. I almost took Westy (and another guy still undrafted), but feel like Westy has 2 good years left, while Gore has 5 or 6. Let's not forget Gore was the #4 fantasy RB in 2006, playing behind the same mediocre line without a quality QB. He stil put up decent #'s in 2007 playing with a broken hand and lingering ankle sprain. In a league that can start 3 RB's it would be pretty silly for me not to take a RB at #5 (or anywhere before the 11th/12th IMO). To each their own though!
