IAMWood 6 Posted July 17, 2008 significance of that anyway? The year Texas declared it's independence. The Houston soccer team was going to name themselves that, but all the messcans got mad and they changed their name. It was a dumb name, but since messcans don't like it, I decided I needed it to be my team name.
Bigtraine 30 Posted July 17, 2008 BTW, I will be leaving shortly for my appointment at that mosque in a few minutes. I will be back TODAY to keep this going. gocolts 300 Posted July 17, 2008 I pre-made my picks, when I knew I wasn't going to be around. I thought I might be around. I was expecting ALL 3 players I had made my mind up on were freaking gone. I apologize and may even pre rank players latter on in the draft. I need to know who took who before I even consider who to take anyway. That is just how I roll in a draft, especially one as important as this one. I would/could go more in depth, but then everybody would know how/why I do this. NO appointments for a while and I will be checking in multiple times a day.

mmmmm...beer 807 Posted July 17, 2008 3.04 28. Battling Cockelburrs Turner, Michael ATL RB Everything I'm reading is that they're going to give Turner the ball about 3/4 of the time. They want to build around the run and give the new QB some time to breath. They drop Alge and grabbed a new blocking TE... I'm hoping this pans out nicely. PistonSteve 0 Posted July 17, 2008 Hey, Stevo...suggestion for you the next time you try to get one of these going.....make each owner hook up a webcam and prove to you that they actually have control of their own balls before you accept their application into the league. gocolts 300 Posted July 18, 2008 On a side note, after looking at the picks and thinking about the keeper league I am in locally, I feel pretty good at my options for keepers in it this year. I have Gore, Lynch, Grant, Manning, and Wayne. I can only keep 3, but nice position to be in. All 5 of these guys were gone by half way through the second round.
