bno70_1 0 Posted September 8, 2008 Every single freaking year there's a pile of new reasons to come back to the chipper. You just know that you're gonna get ur schlank grinded up and it's gonna hurt like h3ll, but for some reason, this time it's different. Ya sure, the old man still owns the chipper, but look at the shiny new wheels. Ok, the idiot still runs the chipper and it's leaking gas, but dang it if we can't make a run at this thing. The chipper's been gettin some good press and has looked really s3xy warming up. I'm start'n to see past the obvious flaws, and you know what, this chipper is making me hot. Here we go!!!!!!! Oh f#$%ing $h1% that hurts!!!!! Holy @#$t!! why? why?

SuperSteelers 1 Posted September 9, 2008 Worse being a Bengal fan(who dey my a**) Yea, being a Bengals fan must be pretty bad, but the Lions just seem to get worse each year. They never seem to draft many game changing defensive players other than Ernie Sims a few years ago. He didn't seem like a deference maker at all.
Savage Beast 1 Posted September 9, 2008 the Lions just seem to get worse each year. They never seem to draft many game changing defensive players other than Ernie Sims a few years ago. Why would they do this, when there is a good WR on the draft board?
WhiteWonder 2,737 Posted September 9, 2008 being a jets fan is like riding a constant up and down roller coaster but the climb up is never high enough to be satisfying. 2007- big letdown 4-12 2006- surprise playoff team 10-6 2005- bad year 4-12 2004- playoffs 10-6 (should have defeated Pitt to play in the AFC championship game. ###### you doug brien) 2003- 6-10 2002- surprise playoff berth at 9-7 since 2002 we are on the every even year playoff plan. with horrible years between. donhaas 18 Posted September 9, 2008 Being a Lions fan must be like being a mentally challenged person. Everyone laughs at you because you are goofy and will never win anything. That's kind of funny because they have the same amount of playoff victories over the last 13 years as the Cowboys do.
Dallas_Empire 0 Posted September 9, 2008 That's kind of funny because they have the same amount of playoff victories over the last 13 years as the Cowboys do. LOL! What did Dallas do the 4 years prior to the past 13 years. It went something like this.... :overhead: in a four year period. Green bay has one title in the past 40 years. swamp dog 0 Posted September 9, 2008 Being a Lions fan must be like being a mentally challenged person. mambokings 0 Posted September 9, 2008 I've often wondered how one becomes or remains a Lions fan. I mean, the teams always suck, the uniforms suck, and the front office sucks.

Slick20 0 Posted September 9, 2008 I am also a Lions fan and I don't know why every year I think they are going to make their way to five hundred or better. It just never happens, I get more pissed every year they continue to let Millen be the GM. FIRE that S.O.B. already!!!!! This could be another long year. Jeff Garcia 8 Posted September 9, 2008 On the bright side CJ did pretty well for me. Plus Kitna had more TDs than INTs. Which is nice.

berven 0 Posted September 9, 2008 As a Packers fan, I feel blessed that we are the only team in the division without a death wish. It's no accident that the Ford family is a power in both the US auto industry and the Lions franchise. Both entities actually seem to plan for failure the way other organizations plan to succeed. And the Vikings hire QB guru Childress and then want him to mold a guy who can't pass into the next Randall Cunningham. The Bears spend years trying to decide if their QB is going to be Grossman, Orton, or Brian Griese. It's not too early to engrave the NFC North trophy. Of course, all this could change in a hurry. The fragile Aaron Rodgers is already overdue to get hurt, and he has two rookies backing him up. Collectively, the North has to have the most eccentric management in football. JGB_11 0 Posted September 9, 2008 This thread is starting to read like an AA meeting. Hello my name is "Swamp Dude" and I am a Detroit Lions fan. The group collectively says "Hello Swamp Dude" However I do sympathize, as I am a cubs fan. My Grandfather, my father, myself, and my kids have never seen a cubs win a world series.
