****The Official Eagles-Cardinals NFC Championship Thread****

Recommended Posts

I don't think they quit. It was the Eagles that made adjustments. It isn't over by any stretch. Arizona just needs a score on this drive, and keep their defense off the field for a few minutes.

Eagles haven't really changed what they were doing, they're just more aggressive. The Cards aren't adjusting or trying anything to get the ball out of Warners hands quicker.

Shame on you Newbie, conveniently away until the Eagles finally get back in it. Then miraculously you're here now.

In any event......tale of two halves. Cards ended this game quick. Then turned back into the Cardinals?!

Believe me, i was dying to be working. I was aware of what was going on because there was a tv on out in the bar area. All teh guys were sneaking out to catch the action.

Then, i turned on the radio on the way home and heard that Wilson blitzed and forced a fumble. I was

Arizona with a fantastic drive to go up 7.

That is what a great team does, when they have to.

Let's see if the Eagles respond.

This has been an entertaining shootout. I hope the next game devolves into a defensive slugfest. That makes for a great double header of football.

Well, this is where McNabb can make himself known as a big time, clutch QB.

I leave to run errands at 21-6, they give up 19 unanswered. I come back, they convert a 4th down and score a TD. So it is 31-6 and McNabb sucks when I'm watching.

How many wide open WRs is McNabb going to totally miss?

I don't bash the guy often he has talent, but is way too inconsistant.

McNabb is who we thought he was!!

Well, he still has the 4th down play coming up. But some, check that, many of his throw today have been awful.

He has missed some open receivers, but he's made some big throws too. He's hard to get a read on.

McNabb often is VERY inaccurate, but I still feel for him because he is forced to work with so little. He's forced to be perfect with no margin of error due to a lack of receiver talent and he just isn't good enough to make them better...consistently. Sometimes he can, but more often than not they don't step up for him.

Or.....maybe McNabb makes his WRs look worse than they are with his horrible accuracy.

An end to a fantastic late season turn-around for the Eagles. I know it sucks right now, but they should be happy where they ended up after starting 5-5-1 this year.

Classic battle between two hall of fame quarterbacks.

Warner 21-28 279 yds 4 TDs

McNabb 28-47 375 yds 3 TDs, 2 carries 31 yds rushing.

One for the ages.

What a game! The Eagles battle back...and the Cards win in the end.

Congrats to the Cards fans. :music_guitarred:

The Eagles showed a lot of heart and would not lay down. A far better team that we have here in Dallas.

e the season started, I would have laughed at you.

No doubt about it. The only team with a better story this year is Arizona. Unbelievable turnaround for Philly.
