US Airways Plane Crashes Into Hudson River...

Recommended Posts

Was thinking the exact same thing.

Anybody remember the one that crashed in the river - I want to say around Washington DC? Been years ago.

I worked in DC at the time and lived in Va. Huge snow storm. Took me 7 1/2 hrs to get home as da gubmit and sll business's closed at abut the same time. This caused a MASSIVE traffic jam in addition to the issues with the 14th st bridge and the plane. Cars were abandoned all over the GW Parkway (no shoulder).

And, no, I didn't jump in the water and save anyone.

There are reports that a bird strike may have caused the plane to go down, meaning a bird may have entered the engine, causing a malfunction.

There is no word on injuries.

I'm guessing that bird got focked up.

I can't wait to hear how GFIAFP made it off the plane and saved some of his fellow passengers.

Never .... EVER fly US Air.

itsatip

If there was a less than coach level of flying .... that'd be US Air. No soda, no peanuts, no engine repair.

As a matter of fact, I own the domain lessthancoach.com and I plan to make it all about US Airways.
