DaveJ 0 Posted February 16, 2009 I don't think it counts, as he wasn't actually arrested. If we do count it, we're going to need to count stuff like speeding tickets also, which would send the number much higher. Speeding tickets typically don't come with jail terms though Unless you don't pay them or are charged with reckless driving etc in addition. I think anything that could potentially land a guy in jail, at least on the basis of the charge alone, should count.

The Moz 69 Posted March 2, 2009 Brandon Marshall - AGAIN http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9283430...-again?MSNHPHMA This would be 8 games for Marshall! minimum 4 games - likely 8 or an entire season as the commish warned him last season he got into trouble again the book would be thrown at him.. Maybe since it happened early if he stays clean 4 games.

Gepetto 1,371 Posted March 11, 2009 Gerald Sensabaugh was arrested as recently as February Newly signed safety Gerald Sensabaugh has been arrested a few times, most recently in February for driving with a suspended license. One arrest occurred because he was carrying a gun without a license and another for riding his motorcycle dangerously. Oh yeah, he's a great player. I'm sure the Cowboys know all about his arrests. There's nothing wrong with giving a guy a second-chance, the Cowboys are famous for that, but maybe secondary coach Dave Campo and new special teams coach Joe DeCamills did some vouching for Sensabaugh since they coached him in Jacksonville. We know Jack Del Rio has a good relationship with Jerry Jones, so maybe he put in a good word for Sensabaugh, even though the Jags coach didn't want the player because of too many off the field issues. The signing could mean the end of Keith Davis. Sensabaugh plays both safety spots and was pretty good on special teams.

gocolts 300 Posted March 12, 2009 This may not count. Not certain about the rules here. Plaxico Scores 4 Tickets from Cops -- In One Day Plaxico Burress had another run-in with cops earlier this month -- but this time, the only person packing heat was the guy holding the badge. Plaxico racked up four separate violations ... at the same time ... when Florida cops pulled over the NY Giants WR's black SUV on March 1st -- speeding (60 in a 45), improper display of tags, improper lane change and for improper window tinting (too dark). The Broward County Court has yet to set a date for Plax to appear. TMZ.com ETA: I guess he fails to make it because of the not being on an active roster. Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted March 13, 2009 ooof - we'll need a vikes chime in on this one. If he's officially unemployed by a current NFL team - he does not make the list He was on a roster. If he was a FA, he would have been signed by someone else already. This should definitely count. The "active roster" rule was put in to prevent guys who were there just for camp or has beens to count. Correct?

If he's officially unemployed by a current NFL team - he does not make the list Had a similar situation last year with Darrion Scott. He was a free agent who played the year before, and he counted. Haynesworth went to the Brentwood Police Department on Wednesday and was taken to the Williamson County jail, where he stayed for less than an hour before posting a $1,000 bond and being released.
