WKTSWAY 0 Posted March 23, 2009 Man, strange start to the offseason, no one has slapped their 'ho yet? I'll call my shot, this weekend, I can feel it. I think you were a week early: Raiders OT Cornell Green was reportedly arrested Saturday and charged with Aggravated Battery/Domestic Violence. Analysis: Green allegedly destroyed property and physically assaulted the mother of his two children after a heated argument. The NFL is sure to look into the matter, but Green should be safe from suspension with no history of legal problems. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...=NFL&id=
GettnHuge 2 Posted March 23, 2009 http://www.sportsbybrooks.com/raider-charg...-beatdown-22955 Police say Green, 32, got into a fight with Teriyonal Flowers at his home in Tampa on Saturday. The 6′6″, 315 lb. offensive tackle allegedly shoved Flowers against a wall and struck her arm with the handle of an aluminum mop. I don’t know how big Flowers is, but I’m guessing she’s not 6′6″ and 315, and that he didn’t need a weapon to subdue her. Green then left his home to catch a flight to Oakland, but police contacted the TSA who apprehended him at the airport. He’s currently being held in Hillsborough County Jail, so, you know, probably no minicamps in his immediate future. a mop? ffs

Acerun 0 Posted March 23, 2009 If PJ Hill is drafted he must be added to the list. This may in fact raise his value. http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7014453832 Ex-Wisconsin Tailback Hill Arrested; DWI Alleged March 17, 2009 5:43 p.m. EST AHN Sports Staff Madison, WI (AHN) - Running back P.J. Hill, who played last season at Wisconsin, was arrested Saturday morning on alleged charges of drunken driving, resisting arrest and reckless driving. According to police reports, authorities got a call from a campus-area gas station after a vehicle rammed into a guard rail. The vehicle sped away until police caught up with it at a traffic stoplight. Hill allegedly led police on a chase before he was stopped after the car crashed into a wall on Spring Street. Police said they arrested the Badgers junior at gunpoint. Hill was booked into the Dane County jail and was released on a signature bond Monday. He finished his third season at Wisconsin in 2008, posting more than 1,000 yards in every campaign. He has since declared for the NFL draft. He isn't likely to face discipline from the NFL as the arrest took place prior to his entering the league, but an NFL spokesperson told WKOWTV that Hill could still face mandatory treatment or counseling. After they sobered up, I'm sure they regretted giving him the deal he got. Now they'll probably be able to void the contract and free up some cap room. DaveJ 0 Posted April 2, 2009 Stallworth's blood-alcohol level after the crash was .126, well above Florida's legal limit of .08, according to results of a blood test. jocstrap 8 Posted April 6, 2009 We have our first 2 time loser of the year. He doesn't count - Free agent when it happened. Currently an unrestricted free agent, Williams never lived up to the lofty expectations that came with being the No. 9 overall pick in 2004. An 11-game starter in 2008, Williams caught 37 passes for 364 yards and three touchdowns. His best season came in 2007 when Williams set a single-season franchise record with 10 touchdown catches. For his career, Williams has 189 catches for 2,322 yards and 18 touchdowns. He started 53 games and missed only one contest during his five seasons in Jacksonville. Even before Sunday night's arrest, Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said the franchise didn't "have any intention of bringing him back." Williams had yet to take a free-agent visit this offseason. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9420958...ested-for-drugs

Melissa Stark 1 Posted April 8, 2009 He won't count, just thought interesting. take a look at his picture...poster boy for don't do drugs What a waste Remember former USC quarterback Todd Marinovich? He was a superstar in college, and was expected to make the same impact in the NFL. However, when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Raiders in 1991, he ended up being a dud. Anyway, the 39-year-old former NFL prospect surfaced Friday (April 3), when he was arrested in Newport Beach, Calif. outside of his mother's house for failing to show up at a drug rehabilitation progress review. According to the local paper the Contra Costa Times, Marinovich was taken into custody and held at the Orange County Jail without bail. link
