I would use as much salt as possible for fertilizer.

Not even gonna bag on this one. Store boughten tomaters have absolutely zero taste. And the peppers will keep the bugs away. A fresh tomater sammich right from the garden is pretty durn tasty.

Cherry tomatoes (those mini things) are very good tasting.

A healthy alternative to chips for mid day snacking. :music_guitarred:

Snow peas really prosper in our area Sux. What about some strawberries?

I have the fever Sux - 75 degrees here all weekend - raked the yard, beds are ready to be planted. I have a male dog who hikes his leg and acid pees on everything in the backyard. Puts out planting vegetables - and I'm not fencing off a "garden area" back there. I don't think a tomato plant would like right in the front yard center flower bed. Damn Dog

I have 3 more weeks until our last freez should be gone. I'm ready man :(

75. Fock you. LOL. It was 60 here but the thing is we have another 3-4 snows in us before old man winter gives up. In the meantime its going to go from -10 to 60 and everything in between till April. Enjoy it in Huntsville.

It snowed on my birthday last year in April.

do you not like peas in general? Because I'm not a big pea fan, but snow peas are crisper and bigger than others. 'Undercook' them and

I thought I heard that strawberry plants won't produce until the second year harvest. But fresh strawberries would be worth it.

This is the big lesson of gardening. Plant what grows easily. Don't work too hard on plants that have problems in your soil, light, etc. ;)

You know, I've read this thread. Even posted in this thread. But every time I read the thread title I think it's some obscure reference to pubic hair or manscaping or sex or something.
