I have never done the campaigns...I just jump to online play.

I can't compare it to Multi cause I haven't tried it yet but the campaign has been spectacular so far and I am just a couple hours into it.

 

Climbing an ice cliff to reach a airbase. Stalking through a blizzard with a silenced wep w/heartbeat detector, head shotting guards while your partner covers you from a distance with the thermal scope. Executing plan "B" with hidden claymore charges after it all goes to hell and finish it all off with a tear down the mountain shooting from a snowmobile with the auto Glock. That is just one mission.

For what it's worth...It would have been worth the extra money..Those fockers are kewl as all heck

The kids played it all night - they both passed my online rank. I'll get them back tonight.

We may need to get a second copy of this or there is going to be some fighting going on.

Played one round (Free for All in Terminal) and ranked from 1 to 4 in the one match.

I like it alot. Have to get used some of the new things a little but not much.

 

Played a little offline stuff as weel. Nicely done.

I am guessing it is the airport scene where you open fire on all the civilians in the place. You are undercover trying to get in to this Russian cell.

I think it's safe to assume that there is some fun to be had when the game has a mission that is supposedly so disturbing to some people that they give you the option to continue playing the game while skipping said mission.

 

ETA: I know COD is awesome, but some of you are really missing out on some SICK games this season. Batman Arkham Asylum and Uncharted 2 are a couple of the best games that I have EVAH played.

2nd night of campaign. Pretty intense. Predator drone, claymores and thermal scope are really sweet. I am starting to really hate the whole damage taking routine. Bugs me real bad how everything goes red and you can't distinguish colors. There are parts where I am getting macked from all directions and once you go red you are pretty much done for. AI is pretty good, enemies hide and use cover very well. I am dying a lot in some spots even on normal.

Yeah, campaign mode is cool, but it just seems a little dated. I mean, a FPS w/no cover mechanic feels kinda stale to me. Glaring omission IMO.
