Joey Gladstone 33 Posted December 3, 2009 IMO NFC has the Superbowl pretty much locked up. So much so that the best game of the year will most likely be the NFC Championship Game. The Colts disagree.
Boston Three Party 6 Posted December 3, 2009 I ACTUALLY love the anti-Pats sentiments on the board - it provides quite a bit of "New England" style sarcasm. My favorite homer posters are clearly Retodd and Patsox - Patssox has CLEARLY had a rough fantasy year and it always makes me laugh when he posts about some BS bad beat. As for the Colts fan - you are what you are. I will GLADLY fly out to Indy AGAIN, AGAIN, AND AGAIN every year and I'm hoping we meet AGAIN. I will go broke getting tickets for that because our revenge will be pretty. Hell I date a Colt's fan I know how that feels every day! The Saints loss was crushing, but we can regroup in time. It's not over - but we need to get it going in time. That DEF is putrid man. Brady has his WORST fantasy game of the season, cost me my bye, but FOCK that. I got nothing but faith baby. LETS ROLL! WhiteWonder 2,859 Posted December 3, 2009 As far as the bee sting analogy? Don't quite understand it. But crying to Mommy didn't happen. i was likening your brash homerism and trash talking to poking at a bees nest. you know, you can do it a couple times and be right, just like you can poke the nest a few times and nothing will happen.... and the cry to mommy was supposed to represent your congratulatory posts. (prolly not a great analogy) but i was going for the showing remorse thing. and then being right back at the bee hive is you being right back at the trash talking. idk, was just hvaing fun. RaiderHaters Revenge 4,438 Posted December 3, 2009 The Colts disagree. you know the Colts are scared of the Chargers. Just like the Chargers are scared of the Pats and Steelers. Go Jags! noone is scared of them

LETS ROLL! i have had a decent year beside trading Rice away for Steve Smith and Jonathan Stewart to name one big screw up. I had to talk the bastard into taking the trade for a week. Me and my big mouth. But it was when McGahee was getting the carries and GL. But everything i said about him being a stud came through i to like some of the Patriot bashing but some of it is a little stupid and even childish. I feel there is more jealousy in alot of the post than just hatred. What kills me is people complain about all the Patriots fans talking smack when the ones complaining know that their crap is gonna cause more of a response. and then they beeatch about it. i think the Pats will be OK come playoff time. They will fix their defense as much as they can with the personnel they have. Im not too worried about playing the Colts if we make it that far. But the way the Saints looked the other night that is a different story. And the only time we would have to play them or the Vikings would be in the SuperBowl and id be a very happy camper if that happened.
PATSSOX 22 Posted December 3, 2009 The Colts disagree. I still think the Pats are better than the Colts. the way the Saints played the other night NO ONE would be able to beat them. Maybe the Vikings because i think they have a better mix of Offense(both run and pass) and dam good Defense The Colts and Pats are not close at this moment. kmbryant09 1 Posted December 3, 2009 KMBryant, you are a punk. If you are going to call me out then do it. I never belittled the Saints, and don't understand how you think my logic is that far off. Who is going to beat the Patriots to get to the Colts? In order to get to the SuperBowl the biggest competition will be the Colts. We just barely lost to the Colts and I think they are prime to be upset. They have been squeaking by teams. I've explained this to you as nice as I can. but you would rather argue then come to an agreement to disagree. It really is a punk ass post, I'm surprised I thought you were better than that. You want me to grovel and come on here week 11 and say my team is done and sucks. Because I won't do that you try to punk me out. I haven't said one thing since the Patriots loss that merits your post above. Punk ass post. Red Todd is correct. The amounts of Pats bashers on here that make ridiculous statments is 20 times higher than Pats fans that are over the top. I am pretty much the most over the top Pats fan here and I've just done a power ranking that had us listed at 4. I posted a new topic that said we were outclassed and listed our many weaknesses. But the Pats haters actually expect that I will come on here and post that we are all done and won't win again. I'll post that after we are all done. Not 5 weeks before the playoffs even begin. Again - I have no problem with you being optimistic about your team, it's not like you're rooting for a team struggling to make the playoffs or anything, the Patriots are a legit team. I don't think I quoted you on anything, but I probably wouldn't have a hard time digging up some of your posts to show how you belittle teams. Patriots fans belittled the Broncos, the Jets, and the Colts (in a big time way - which to me is very offensive). If a team beats you, they beat you...aka you clearly weren't the best team that day. Just because the Patriots outplayed the Colts in the 1st half does not make them better. We outplayed you more than you think in the 2nd half, and dominated the 4th quarter of that game. Were there some calls/plays that could have gone either way? ABSOLUTELY - BUT FIND ME A GAME THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE A FEW PLAYS LIKE THAT....Then Patriots fans come back this week and say the Colts are lucky and pretty much cheat courtesy the officials and PI calls. RedTodd (I think) actually started a thread saying that the Colts/Texans game was the worst officiated game ever, because of one PI call, and a few other BLATANT calls that you Patriot fans seem to not understand. And when it comes to New Orleans, you guys paid your dues, for the most part. Afterall, it clearly wasn't a play here, a call there, that lost you the game...You got your @$$ kicked. But it seems like every post from you guys giving the Saints credit ends with something like, "we win out to get to 12-4, beat a WC team at home, beat Cincy/SD on the road, beat Indy on the road, and get to the SuperBowl". You can think that all you want, but when you flash it in the faces of teams that have already beaten you (Denver, Indy), and still involves teams that could've/could beat you (BALT, PITT, SD, CIN), it's extremely disrespectful. The fact of the matter is, you are a 7-4 playoff bound team, who has zero quality wins this season, who's only road game is beating TB (IN LONDON). You guys will absolutely have to go on the road at least once in the playoffs, if not twice. You don't get to act like the Patriots are hot $hit and rub it in everyone's faces and be disrespectful, afterall, it's not 2004
RoadLizard 73 Posted December 3, 2009 Its not the Pats fans that are the problem...its the Pats team and their head coach thats the problem. They've been the bad guys in the league for years now and unilateral hatred is what you are seeing. When the Giants beat them it was like a huge weight being lifted off of Americas back or something. It was just "right" that they lost. If Brady was more like Manning and Belichick was more like Dungy or any other likeable coach.... the hate wouldnt be so deep. But, how can anyone root ffor these guys? Of course, sprinkle in some cheating, suspect calls, etc, etc and you have a recipe for hate. In other words its EASY to hate The Pats. Its much harder to hate some of the other great teams over the course of history. Noone "hated" the 49ers or Redskins of the 80's or the Cowboys of the 90s' nearly as much as people hate the Pats now. I just dont see it. Why? Because Joe Gibbs wasnt a jerk. Bill Walsh was likeable, Troy Aikman was a good guy, none of those teams cheated or weasled their way to victory like The Pats. And, make NO mistake about it: I am NOT grouping the Pats in with those teams as far as quality goes... not even close. Those teams are all-time greats, the Pats are a passing "fad" that will be remembered more for their scandals and obnoxousness than any success they had on the field. So...hate the team...NOT the fans!

So...hate the team...NOT the fans! Either you are too young or you quickly forget. The Cowboys were hated by non-Cowboys fans throughout America. Especially during the Switzer era and after. One of the main reasons I think was all the nation-wide bandwagon fans that were not even from Dallas. Unbearable.

surferskin 30 Posted December 4, 2009 I don't hate pats fans are anything, but there's 5 Pats/Saints related threads on the first page, and Johnny Gracious Loser Pats Fan needs to come in and create a new thread talking about how the Saints deserved to win and offering his personal congratulations like Saints fans care about the personal acknowledgement that the Pats were beaten and the Saints played better. No one cares about some Pats fan's congratulations. It sure as hell doesn't need a new thread. If you want to congratulate Saints fans just go do it in the game thread or whatever, but then of course no one would see how awesomely gracious you are being.
