phillybear 366 Posted September 12, 2010 Fear of what exactly? You'll sweep the Rams and get this win. Just like you usually do. Three wins could win the NFC West this year. What a suckfest of a division. NFL Redzone has been showing highlights of the 1:00 EST games for the last hour because the two NFC West matchups are so bad. Big Blue 06 195 Posted September 12, 2010 This game is brutal. Everything else was at halftime, so I had to watch this one for a bit. This is what the NFC WEst is? The winner of this division may go 8-8.

Big Blue 06 195 Posted September 12, 2010 Yeah because the Giants and Iggles look so stellar today Not sure what that has to do with anything, but the Giants looked okay today. The Eagles had a new starting QB, so how good were you expecting. Don't get your panties in a twist.

Big Blue 06 195 Posted September 12, 2010 Really? If they're not a good division, what is? They had 3 teams that were 8-8 or better last year and 2 playoff teams.

IMMensaMind 462 Posted September 12, 2010 Yikes. I'm not a SF fan, but I really thought they would be a threat in the NFC this year. I don't think that anymore. They looked like warmed over a$$, and there was no saving them.
salparadise 1 Posted September 13, 2010 As a die hard niner fan I am shocked, but not too surprised. The Hawks always play us tough at their house and they did a number on us today. Here are a few quick thoughts...... 1) Madonna Crabtree is going to get a nice earfull from Singletary for the two picks he caused, one of which resulted in a pick six. He looked lost and had no timing with Smith, which is a direct result of him pussing out of training camp. 2) Iupati and Davis had terrible games. Davis was getting beat too much on pass protection, and Iupati fell down on one of the goaline carries which was the turning point of the game. 3) The cornerbacks need to stop guessing and play the receivers straight up. Hasselbeck made them pay for being way to over zealous. I hope Singletary gives them a big ass kicking. They deserve it after this turd of a game.
worm 36 Posted September 13, 2010 Good points Sal. I also think Singletary and Raye need to take some of the blame too, because it was the same ol' bland play calling and using our time outs too early. We just weren't prepared, and Seattle was. I feel like Ralphie in "A Christmas Story" shooting his Red Rider BB gun in the back yard, except Seattle was the metal target, and then I stepped on my red and gold colored glasses. Holy focking sh!it!!! Due to a family emergency yesterday I haven't been able to watch any football today. I just checked scores, and could not believe my eyes!! I figured even if Seattle had won it would be an ugly, close game. I was not expecting an uncle/nephew assault behind the wood shed. From the info I've been gathering, Alex Smith is still the same turd he's always been. Either way GO HAWKS!!!

Kopy 582 Posted September 13, 2010 It looks like we have ourselves a pretty good Defense and special teams. If we can keep Hass upright all year, and not shoot ourselves with turnovers; Put up an at least a decent offense. It could be a fun year.

I will pat myself on the back (at least for the moment) because I was the only guy saying keep Gus Bradley during our overhaul. I know this guy can be a good coach. And knew it was Mora that over ruled his scheme.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 13, 2010 I've been reading a lot of praise for the game plan and scheming by both Bates and Bradly. Holy focking crap, beating a team by out coaching them?!? Unpossible!! Did Mora/Knapp even know what a gameplan is? Or did finding "dirtbags" override any kind of planning and preparation? I can't wait to catch a replay of the game. Mora/Knapp came from the niner organization, of course they didn't. They screwed up the falcons and then the seachickens.
