crackills 19 Posted October 19, 2010 I know, i know.. i am an a$$hole for bragging but i couldn't help myself. This is a 14 team money league with some buddies, most of which are football fans. I am 5-1, top of the league w the one loss being by .5 of a point. QB: Tony Romo WR1: Larry Fitzgerald WR2: Dwayne Bowe - someone dropped him last week and i picked him up and started him this week Wr3: Terrell Owens RB1: Chris Johnson RB2: Ahmad Bradshaw TE: Chris Cooley Flex: Ryan Torain Def: TN Bench: Lance Moore Kenny Britt Davone Bess Mark Sanchez Felix Jones .5 ppr 6pt tds 15 yds = 1 wr/rb
thePRO 78 Posted October 19, 2010 At least brag about a good team. This is probably average. Fitz has done below average. Bowe sucks and barely got it going, will it even last? T.O started off below average and then blew up for 2 big games. CJ hasn't done as well as expected, but still a great RB. Bradshaw has played above average and Torrain looks promising, but he hasn't played enough to really find out how great he is. Romo is good, Cooley is eh..and your bench is pretty weak too. 6/
el_duderino 0 Posted October 19, 2010 Looks pretty pedestrian.
PanicAttack 13 Posted October 19, 2010 You are correct..... You are an a$$hole... Thank you so much for showing us your team, I can sleep well now
crackills 19 Posted October 19, 2010 you guys are nuts! this is a 14 team league with 3wrs starting a basically 3 rbs..(1 flex) .. so free agent pool is thin, to put it mildly. i picked a lot of the bench guys off of waivers and they produce with TDs.. which is all that matters in this league. + we get 5pt bonuns at 125yds for wrs/ rbs. Fits will get his and only get better. For a non free league.. i think it's a great team
lexdizzle 1 Posted October 19, 2010 Best team ever! LOL. the only thing i agree with you is "crackills"

Matt Mueller 146 Posted October 19, 2010 I'll give you some props. My 14 teamer is the same setup but plays 2 wrs. Your QB and RB situation far outweigh mine but my receivers are better, although I do like Fitz and Bowe going forward. I'm 4-2 Qb: Cutler, Freeman, Garrard RB1: C. Johnson RB2, J. Best WR: R. White WR: C. Johnson TE: A. Hernandez Flex: M Bush Def: Tenn Bench: T. Owens, L. Moore, S. Rice
Matt Mueller 146 Posted October 19, 2010 Ok after the props I'll say this. You failed for drafting Fitz as your #1 and got lucky picking up Torain. Please report back when D. Bowe doesn't play Houston and Torain doesn't play Indy.
MDC 7,442 Posted October 19, 2010 I'm pretty content with my 14-team standard scoring league team. If my top RBs ever start scoring I have a decent shot at winning it all: QB: Roethlisberger RB: MJD RB: DWill WR: RWhite WR: MWallace TE: Gates WR/RB: Bradsjaw WR/RB: McCoy K: Rackers D: Patriots / Giants 4-2 and near the top in total points. All that said ... it's only 6 weeks into the year. So nobody cares about your team or mine.

I'm fairly confident, borderline positive, that in the history of all 14-person leagues.....Someone has started 6-0. Also - Romo has been good not great. Fitz disappointing. Bowe had one good week - check back in when he plays a real DEF. TO has been great. Bradshaw/CJ good. Cooley decent but now injured, and you have no bench. Congrats kid, maybe you should be like a writer for this site or somethin.
The Next Generation 10 Posted October 19, 2010 I'm pretty content with my 14-team standard scoring league team. All that said ... it's only 6 weeks into the year. So nobody cares about your team or mine. 4-1-1, 6pts out of lead: Kolb/Vick (Stafford) CJ2K LT (Spiller, BJGE) Calvin R White S Moss (L Murphy, D McCluster) Hanson (Brown) Cowboys (Rams) 2x pts for out of position scoring with bonuses for long TDs. If CJ catches a 40+ yd TD it's 24+ pts! Hence Spiller and McCluster on my team (hopefully for late in the year when they get bigger roles). Vick was worth 58 pts in the Jags game/Kolb was worth 36 pts in the Falcons game. I took a zero twice at the QB position (Wk 1 and Wk 4) when Kolb/Vick got hurt early. With this wacky scoring I really like my chances, especially if Vick returns as starter!
parrot 789 Posted October 19, 2010 I'm sorry but I had the greatest team ever in fourteen team redraft. In 2004 I had the following team (where they finished at their position);Jake Plummer (#6)Tiki Barber (#2)Ladanian Tomlinson (#3)Javon Walker (#2)Marivn Harrison (#5)Antonio Gates (#1)Jason Elam (#2)Patriots D (#4)Every one of my main starters scored at least 12 touchdowns. I finished at 13-1 and got high score seven times.
NPNG 4 Posted October 19, 2010 On the opposite end of the spectrum: My 14-team league where I feel my team is good but is 2-4. QB Roethlisberger/Vick/McNabb RB A. Foster/Benson/B. Scott/Torain/Darby WR R. Moss/C. Johnson/Knox/Evans/M. Thomas TE A. Hernandez/Heap K M. Bryant Def New Orleans Start QB/2 RB/3 WR/TE/K/Def *** 2-4/second in the league in scoring by 6 points. Marckus 0 Posted October 19, 2010 Let me add my team, and mine is already a CLASSIC. QB-Palmer/Bradford/Young WR-Moss/White/Walter/Roy Williams RB-Turner/Charles/HILLIS/Greene TE-Shockey K-Bironas D-SD maybe not, my QB/TE is weak, and still banging my head for dropping Keller. travis_henrys_baby_momma 10 Posted October 19, 2010 .... money league with some buddies, most of which are football fans. Some of the people in your league don't even follow the game? Really your team should be better. And it's definitely not the best eva.

If it's a 14 team league, where you have to start 3 WRs, 2 RBs, and a flex, that means MOST teams will be starting 4 WRs, because it's easier to fill the flex spot with a WR than a RB. A "good" 14-team league that requires 3 WRs to start wouldn't have Bowe on the WW. Fitz has been pedestrian, at best, this year, with the crappy QB play in Arizona. TO had one monster week, 1 good week, and 4 crappy weeks, so far. Bradshaw is fine as a #2 RB in a 14-team league, but nothing to bust your nut about. And Ryan Torain has had one good week. And your bench is straight crap. If you've had Lance Moore sitting on your bench behind your starting WRs, you're a moron. No way he should be sitting behind Owens, and you shouldn't have started Bowe over him, (in hindsight, it worked, but that was luck). This team isn't that good. mrstickball 0 Posted October 20, 2010 I'm off to a wonderful 6-0 start. Facing the 2nd best team this week, and am favored by a whopping 50pts (and he has a great team, but is in a bad position with tons of injuries and 3 big starters with byes) I'm rolling with: QB: Orton (waivers for just $1. Steal of Century), Brady RB: Johnson, Best, McFadden ($1 RB steal), Fred Jackson WR: Reggie Wayne, Roddy White, Lance Moore, Deion Branch, Lee Evans...Got outbid on Brandon Lloyd by a few dollars. Huge regret for not spending more on waivers TE: Antonio Hernandez (had Visanthe Shiancoe and Heath Miller) K: Mason Crosby D/ST: Titans 556pts scored in standard non-PPR league over 6 games. I just listed the best team.. how could i start Fitz and TO if they were on bye last week retard? and even though you're a huge duche.. you at least got some of your facts right. -I have been starting More since bush got injured. -TO had two good weeks in a row... and should continue to produce -Fitz will only get better.. he cant get worse and the new QB is better then anderson.. in fact i expect him to start lighting it up after the bye and practice - time will tell. -While bradshaw doesn't score a lot of Tds, he gets lots of yards.. we get +5 for going <125 -Bowe was dropped by a pissed owner after 5 bad weeks.. of course i jumped on him. Most of my bench consistently gets me 10pts per game... its not great .. but at least consistent. I have the highest points in the league, 80 above the next highest team after 6 weeks.
