ricanrockers 39 Posted October 21, 2010 I recently purchased my new EVO Touch phone from Sprint. It's like walking around with a mini laptop. I can basically get on any site and find any info in a matter of seconds. Information (fantasy football wise) that I had to wait until I got home to research I'm doing during work, breaks, meetings....etc. My wife has told me this phone and Fantasy Football has consumed me. I think she's right. I think I'm doing about 6-7 hours a day of Fantasy. Also, with my Jets doing so well, I'm all over their sites as well. Well, back to my researching......Carry On!! walleyeshark 0 Posted October 21, 2010 I have to admit that I'm with you!!! I don't have a "do-it-all phone" but since I've had all of my unsuccessful back surgeries which left me disabled (means I don't need a phone like that cuz I'm always in spittin' distance of my laptop...lol), come football season, I'm constantly doing FF stuff!!! Not sure about how many hours of the day but I guess 6+....Put some $ on it and it becomes a "lifestyle"!!!!!!!!! Oh well, whatever makes us happy, right???????? SuperSteelers 1 Posted October 21, 2010 I'd say at least an hour each day. My team is off to a 2-4 start and it really pisses me off. I have never missed the playoffs and 6 years and off to my worst start ever. Haven't had much luck up to this point.
Kent 228 Posted October 21, 2010 If I have a really good team, very little. This year, a lot. Managing to stay 3-3...with tons of managing.

Moemoney 8 Posted October 22, 2010 Easily three hours a day and at least late to two meetings per week because I'm stuck in my office doing "research". The good thing is that the people at work think I'm a really hard worker!
PATSSOX 22 Posted October 22, 2010 Lets see about 4-5 hours at work and another 3-4 hours at home so thats what 8 or 9 hours a day so roughly 56 hours a week

Shark What's funny is that NOT one trade has been made in my league. Everyone seems too scared to get swindled...lol This year has been the worst year for injuries. I've never seen so many players go down. Even at 3-3, I'm only one game out of first.
mambokings 0 Posted October 22, 2010 I wake up; I'm researching fantasy football. I have breakfast; I'm researching fantasy football. I go to work; I'm researching fantasy football. I have lunch; I'm researching fantasy football. I arrive home; I'm researching fantasy football. I have dinner; I'm researching fantasy football. I go to sleep; I'm researching fantasy football. ...and at all times in between, lol. The iPhone + football apps means I'm researching it on the go as well. I'm crazy addicted and not ashamed to admit it. I have NFL Network running 24/7 at the same time I'm on any one of several computers researching teams, players, rumors, fantasy commentary, and league trends. Blakeyson 0 Posted October 22, 2010 During the season about 2-3 hours a day Monday-Thursday. Read the practice reports on Friday. Nothing on Saturday. Then watch football all Sunday. I spend A LOT of time doing my draft in July so the season is just me constantly "updating" and re-evaluating situations/position battles.
Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted October 22, 2010 Lets see about 4-5 hours at work and another 3-4 hours at home so thats what 8 or 9 hours a day so roughly 56 hours a week As a shift worker, 2/3 of the time, I'm the boss. Just put out fires and in between fires, I crunch FF info. Come home and watch T.V. with the wife while I'm cruising FF sites for info.

itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 22, 2010 Wow, thats crazy to me. I spend 2-3 hours a week. What do you guys do for 2-3 hours a day? I'm in 2 12 team leagues so there aren't very many FA out there. I'm always looking for some low-key guy but i can't imagine it takes 2-3 hours a day.
Blakeyson 0 Posted October 22, 2010 2-3 hours spread over 4 leagues, and I spend most of my time reading local writers trying to get info before it becomes news. Just trying to stay ahead of the rest and win that $$
sorrycharlie 0 Posted October 22, 2010 Alot, and right now it's not helping much. Lost Grant 1st qtr of game 1 MSW has done ###### Ray Rice did ###### Ocho has done ###### Brady lost the best HR hitter in the league and is now a QB2 MJD- weakass DWill-weakass Cutler-good for 2 weeks Bad matchups always hurt as well as injuries. I know for a fact that there are players in Leagues I am in that are the luckiest SOBS on the planet, they do minimal work on their teams and they just get lucky with injuries, and fortunate head to head matchups. That is also another reason that my teams are starting to get stronger because I jump quick on the good news before most folks even know whats going on, 2 leagues last year my teams started really badly, and I came in 2nd in one and 3rd in the other(which was a miracle). I will need good fortune moving forward this year as well, as my teams have started poorly again. You can study and work your ass of, but you need LUCK as well. Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 22, 2010 I'm in and out of this site on weekdays when I get a chance at work. Don't do much at all on weekends other than check my lineup Sunday morning. If I were spending 6-7 straight hours per day on this stuff, I'd know it was time to quit.

Redstone 0 Posted October 22, 2010 Probably averages out from 15 minutes to 1/2 hour a day 2 leagues. One very compettive 15 year league, the other is goofy work league. I dont see what you could possibly research for a couple of hours a day
