The Dream Team!

Recommended Posts

You guys arguing about your crap teams is like watching a kid with downs fight a blind kid with no arms. Funny and sad all at the same time.

It is pretty funny watching Eagles fans try to deny that their team are the original Seahawks.

If the league wasn't trying to be so geographically accurate they could easily have San Francisco and Philly swap divisions.

That makes no sense to me. And I don't think I denied the Eagles are not the original Seahawks because I have no idea what the fock that even means.

Hey Joey: Nobody cares about you or your inconsequential, ghey ass Mickey Mouse franchise with the electric green unis, okay? I realize Sunday was like the most totally awesome win in the history of ever but to most of us there isn't much difference between 1-4 and 2-3 so beating your chest like Tarzan just underscores what a flim flam nothing team with pissant loser fans you root for.

Just sayin. ;)

I'm not beating my chest about anything. Show me a quote where I claimed Seattle was anything more then a rebuilding team that might be headed in the right direction. All I said was December 1st. Despite how sh!tty the Eagles have played, it'll still be a good measuring stick for Seattle's progress.

And the fact that you've spent the last couple hours "slumming it" with Seahawks fans completely underscores your claim that "nobody cares".

Most "rebuilding" teams win more games than the year before Bub. And don't mistake my kicking you around for caring about the Seabiscuits. They mean about as much to me as the Jaguars. Nobody would notice you tools at all if you weren't the biggest delusional loudmouthed cack bags on the forearm.

It's an exciting time to be 2-3. :overhead:

Sorry that went over your head.

My point was that Philly hasn't accomplished much more then the Seahawks despite a 43 year head start. Sorry that was so hard to understand.

We're 5 weeks into the season princess. Hawks only need 6 more wins to finish better then last year. I'm not bragging, I'm just not sure what your point was in that first sentence.

And hey, the Jags are another team that haven't won a Superbowl.

So the point is Seahawks>>>>>>>>>>>>Eagles? Which doesn't even matter because they only play each other once every four years or so. But thanks for the insight. I learned a lot.

Personally, I'm pretty happy with our performance over the past decade. Not many teams can say they've made the playoffs 8 times in the past 10 years, been to 5 conference championships, and a Superbowl. Including the Seahawks. :dunno: Maybe that's why everyone is so obsessed with the Eagles.

So you're back to pulling unsupported claims out of your ass. Gotcha

I know you've already got your dismissive, "nobody cares" schtick lined up if the Eagles lose ...... but December 1st.

Dude... you won yesterday against a Giants team that has issues of its own. Yeeeeeeee haaaaaaw. I mean seriously. You sound like a 7 year old who just won a kick ball game and is like My Team is Better Than Your Team na na na. Also.... no one in the city of Philadelphia probably even knows what date we play the Seahawks off the top of their heads. Personally I only pay attention to teams that mean anything to us.

I think my claim will be supported when the season ends and Seattle finishes with a worse record than last year.

If the Eagles lose to the Seahawks I'll care, but 1. no more than I'd care if they list to any other non divisional opponent and 2. I don't think that's going to happen.

That's what you don't get Joey: Eagles fans don't care about the Seahawks because you're not a rival. I didn't even remember we were playing Seattle until you reminded me.

The real question is why you care about the Eagles? You're probably the only fanbase that envies our piddling "success." You must've really hated those Marv Levy Bills teams.

I recall you posting several times in the Seahawks thread, so despite your claims you do care about the Seahawks.

And why would I envy the Eagles? I just have a sick fascination with fans that think their team is great through association. Just like the Seahawks the Philly Eagles have been far from great.

A conversation that I can guarantee has not happened on the face of the earth:

Eagles fan 1: Man the Eagles are looking bad this year.

Eagles fan 2: Yea, but the rest of the division is banged up and playing like shiit. The season's not over yet if they can [insert list of things that need fixing on the Eagles for them to be successful].

Eagles fan 1: But dude... we have to play the Seahawks on December 1.

Eagles fan 2: Nevermind. We're focked.

I'm sure if I talked to a Browns fan, or a Lions fan, or pretty much any fan of a team that hasn't had similar success over the past decade, they would be more than happy to take what appears to be "far from great" in your eyes.

This conversation is completely retarded.

How will the conversation go if the Eagles get beaten by a team from Alaska?

No matter your talent, you can't win in this league if your O-line sucks and you can't stop the run.

They don't have talent along either lines.

I post about most teams here - it's a football forearm. Get over yourself, Sally.

Also, the Eagles history of futility isn't news to any Philly fan. Unlike the Seachickens we don't celebrate 7-9 seasons or fluke wins over mediocre teams.

If the Eagles lose to the Seahawks on December 1, that means that nothing has improved and we are likely in last place in the NFC East and have gotten beaten by all of our division rivals and the Seahawks game won't mean jack shiit to us. Just like it doesn't right now.

Can you please copy this and put it in an e-mail to Andy Reid? Thanks.

I beg to differ about talent along the defensive line. Babin, Jenkins, and Cole all were getting to the quarterback and running backs. Again, the linebackers and secondary can't tackle though. Anytime a back gets to the second level, its an 8+ yard gain. If you watch, the Eagles often have a player IN POSITION to make a play...unfortunately Juan Castillo clearly doesn't know how to show these guys how to tackle. Maybe Asante is the drill leader?

An easy fix would be to take Andy Reid to McDonald's and watch him tackle a tray of quarter pounders. The whole focking defense would be unstoppable then.

They need a MLB. Plain and simple. Why it was determined this position was not important is beyond me.

I think it is fairly obvious to any impartial observer that the Seahawks franchise has been and currently is light years ahead of the embarrassment that is the Philadelphia Eagles. I'd put most high school teams in the Delaware Valley ahead of the Eagles, talentwise.

With the Phillies losing and the Eagles sucking, I'd gulping down the tears of nearly everybody in Philadelphia. And it's delicious.

Cheer up Eagles fans. You can always be paper champions again next offseason.

I'm pretty sure Seattle will be preseason favorites after all the improvement they show this season. Another 2-3 seasons of moving in the right direction and Seattle might finish .500 or better!

It's an exciting time to be a Seachicken.

I'm excited that we have the 2nd youngest team in the league who unlike the Eagles are playing pretty good on both lines.

#1 is worse...by far

Unfortunately for us, this Nikki person is really a chick. (Trust me on this)

Double unfortunately for us, the dumbass actually knows a thing or two about football.

How do I know one of the the above, you ask?

1: I talk to her on a regular basis phone wise (that proves the girl part)

2: She felt sorry for me this week in our Geek club dynasty league (ppr)(we were playing eachother) and started Preston Parker, Chicago D, and V. Jackson versus starting Garcon, Minn, and M. Lynch.

Who else could have made such incredible lineup decisions to make it look like I won by myself? :dunno:

Also, the crazy woman is really pretty damn smart, but is still a woman.

Then again, at least she isn't a Seahawks homer. :ninja:

Also, also, Whitehead..err..hurst looked pretty damn good yesterday. congrats

The only true dumb decision I made was Preston focking Parker over Garcon. I set my lineup in about 5 minutes this week after reading stuff all week and didn't even bother to look that Indy was playing KC. I think I also thought I would handily beat your shiit ass team and didn't think my studs would tank this week so it didn't matter. And no way would I have sat VJax or started Lynch in any scenario. If I thought it would have been close, I would have paid more attention to who my WRs were going up against and started Garcon. I thought the two of them would kind of be a push and didn't think my WR3 was going to make or break me. I was wrong.
