joeshushu 51 Posted December 11, 2011 Hopefully this means more targets for Nelson next week with the possibility of Jennings out. Although I see Cobb is in there now and no Jordy.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted December 12, 2011 @espn_nfcnblogESPN Blogs NFC North No further info on Jennings injury from McCarthy. Sprain, more tests. Jennings not seen in locker room (by me, at least). #Packers So far, that is about the info so far.

TwentyFourSeven 23 Posted December 12, 2011 http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3652/greg-jennings Players in the Packers locker room Sunday night were "not sure" when Greg Jennings (knee) will return, and Aaron Rodgers expressed "hope" that Jennings might return for the NFL playoffs. swamp dog 0 Posted December 12, 2011 mike florio is claiming it's a torn mcl. don't know how he would know that on sunday night--or anyone for that matter--but that's what he's writing.

MRI tuesday or so. Well...McCarthy said sprain...which is a tear. Will all depend on how bad. Hopefully back for the playoffs. Awful bye week for my FF team though, lost Jennings and Murray. Sho Nuff 720 Posted December 12, 2011 You shoulda rested them! I did, but the Packers and Cowboys did not take my advice and sit them down for the week for me.

donhaas 18 Posted December 12, 2011 Who is going to step up in his place? Driver or Jones You might be able to just stick with Jennings.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1P0yfq2wDvU nsfw (some naughty words)
Sho Nuff 720 Posted December 12, 2011 Who is going to step up in his place? Driver or Jones Jones, Nelson, Cobb, Finley Rodgers will spread it around. Id guess Nelson sees more work and increases his value. The downside is that he will also face likely better coverage now. IMO, Cobb sees a lot more work. He has been getting worked into the offense more and more and can be very good out of the slot.

I am hoping that jones and cobb use this opportunity to shine It's really impossible to know where the catches are going to go unless you know how defenses will try to defend the Packers the next couple of weeks.... swamp dog 0 Posted December 12, 2011 if he's going to back for the playoffs, no worries. the packers already have home field salted away. get the other guys some playing time.
IGotWorms 3,382 Posted December 13, 2011 Fock me, lost Jennings AND DeMarco Murray in a money league where I was the #2 seed going into the playoffs and had a BYE this past weekend. I have the feeling I am going to get my ass kicked now. Ahmad Bradshaw and Ryan Grant will be my starting RBs! WR corps is still good but no longer good enough to make up for lackluster RBs.
