paulinstl 296 Posted May 30, 2012 Bush commuted the sentence, not pardoned. OK, but my calling out RP's hypocrisy still stands. The claim that Panetta outed the Iraqi doctor is completely false, clear refutation of that was even clear in the article that RP cited. Nobody reading RP's quotes from that article would know that because he intentionally omitted that part of the article. That combined with his outrage that somebody from the Obama administration would confirm the identity of anyone in the intelligence community is the height of dishonesty and hypocrisy. Where was the outrage when the deputy secretary of state outed Plame? Where was the outrage when Karl Rove confirmed to two different reporters that Plame worked for the CIA? Where was the outrage when Rove told another reporter that "Wilson's wife is fair game."? KSB is absolutely right in saying that I shouldn't have even tried to have a discussion about this. It won't happen again. Go ahead and get whatever last word you want RP. Your act certainly hasn't changed. -30-
Recliner Pilot 61 Posted May 30, 2012 I didn't include the quote by the administration official because I give it no weight. It's funny to me that just because some anonymous hack from the WH says "Hey, we didn't do it" you think that is proof of something. Continue to whine about Rove all you want. It won't change the fact Richard Armitage is who leaked her name, and that was common knowledge early in the investigation. Hacks like you and Torrid wouldn't accept that, and continue to cry about Rove to this day. Also, you continue to gloss over the fact Panetta assured this guys conviction by going on TV and confirming he was working for us prior to his trial. That really fukked him over. Herbivore 1,134 Posted May 30, 2012 Are you still here crying about this debate not being adult enough for you? Paul lied about my position on the Plame affair. I called him on it. He also lied about Bush pardoning Libby. He got called on that one as well. I guess you think his lies should go unchallenged because he is a lib. Sorry, I don't worship at the PISL altar like you Newbie. You have over 33,000 posts, and if I had to guess I would estimate half of those are you whining about something I posted. The majority of the remaining post would consist of you whining about others, lying about your perfect life, and exposing your fantasies about what parts of your anatomy you want to smear with man-batter. Excuse me if I don't put much stock into what you consider to be "adult" conversation. you really are lame

So you are claiming I give weight to an anonomous political hack from this administration? I'm shocked they didn't blame Bush. Three entities knew this guy was working with us: 1. The CIA 2. The Doctor 3 The Administration. The CIA is in the business of keeping secrets. The Dr obviously didn't out himself. That leaves an administration known for spiking the football, giving access to secrets about the mission to Hollywood clown making a Spike The Football movie, and confirming on TV he worked with us prior to his trial, thus convicting him beforehand. You do the math.

Gepetto 1,368 Posted April 27 Update on the original post: Shakil Afridi, who once was celebrated by America for his role in tracking down Osama bin Laden, has spent almost 14 years in solitary confinement in Pakistani prisons. Confined to a cell smaller than his own 6-foot frame, with no ventilation and no working toilet, his existence has been reduced to a slow, agonizing descent into obscurity.
