GreenTD 56 Posted September 28, 2012 After tonight I sure wish I would have started him over Pitta at W/T. It wouldn't be hard for him to exceed that Pittaful performance. Maybe he won't fall down in the end zone when he's wide open. Nah... But he may just somersault in for the TD!

LSUtiger 9 Posted September 28, 2012 Coach Leslie Frazier confirmed Friday that Jerome Simpson will be on no sort of "pitch count" in his 2012 debut against Detroit. "We don’t have a pitch count for him," Frazier said. "We’re going to let him play. We’ve got some things in there for him." We never really thought there'd be a "pitch count" on Simpson, but this could be a reassuring nugget for a desperate fantasy owner wanting to play him. Simpson is a boom-or-bust WR3 option. Boy I can't wait till Simpson has 3 catches for 18 yards and this thread collapses in on itself like a dying star.

GobbleDog 1,018 Posted September 28, 2012 Boy I can't wait till Simpson has 3 catches for 18 yards and this thread collapses in on itself like a dying star. Simpson has spent his NFL career as waiver wire fodder. It's always the same - full of hope when you pick him up, and utterly disappointed a few weeks later when you dump him. He's a knucklehead, both on and off the field.
We Tigers 71 Posted September 28, 2012 I'm deploying him because I think Steven Jackson might struggle to approach 40 yards against Seattle, but really only expecting something like 3 for 50. If Simpson can top that, bonus.
LSUtiger 9 Posted September 28, 2012 LSU what do u think Washington,Simspon,Ramsen??? That's a tough call my man. Washington may be the play if Britt and Cook miss the game. If Britt is active I'd roll with Simpson - I'll save you a seat on the train!

We Tigers 71 Posted September 28, 2012 This hump is currently on waivers in my league....is he worth a look or no? Absolutely for your roster, even if you're not rolling him out right away. 50/725/4 last year, and looked really good in the preseason as Minnesota primary downfield receiver. p00h 85 Posted September 30, 2012 How the crap, 3 weeks into the season do teams end up where you're contemplating starting this bum. I never understand this nonsense. Who'd you draft, Tory holt and Chris carter?????
KryptonKnights 6 Posted September 30, 2012 How the crap, 3 weeks into the season do teams end up where you're contemplating starting this bum. I never understand this nonsense. Who'd you draft, Tory holt and Chris carter????? I didn't draft them but if an owner drafted Nicks, Dez and say DHB that owner might be desperate and looking for some help about now. We have an owner in our league that is in that position.
We Tigers 71 Posted September 30, 2012 How the crap, 3 weeks into the season do teams end up where you're contemplating starting this bum. I never understand this nonsense. Who'd you draft, Tory holt and Chris carter????? Antonio Brown, Reggie Wayne, and Mike Wallace--that's two of the top 10 receivers this year and another guy in the top 20--are all on bye this week. In a 14-team league where I'm missing Brown, my best options are a limited Steven Jackson, Brandon LaFell, Kendall Wright, and Simpson. Anyone who drafted Britt, Nicks, Garcon, or DHB could probably use some help this week, too.
P Park Pimps 1 Posted September 30, 2012 How the crap, 3 weeks into the season do teams end up where you're contemplating starting this bum. I never understand this nonsense. Who'd you draft, Tory holt and Chris carter????? It's called matchups and injuries. You could have the best WR core but if they're matchups aren't favorable or they're injured sometimes you have to rely on your bench and if Jerome Simpson is there you have to question if he is a better option. Gouda-Buddha 0 Posted October 4, 2012 Anyone starting Simpson this week? He had a good preformance last week even though Ponder was awful. Should I start him over Decker? Aw, decisions, decisions, decisions!

josepaz2 1 Posted October 4, 2012 This sounds like something for the help forum You could have just said "NO".... because quite frankly, no, there is no way you start him over Decker. Unless your name is Christian Ponder and you plan to throw 15+ times to this guy. I get it that theres a 'board' for that, but personally I'm not opposed to people asking questions like this in a thread directly discussing the player in question. cyclone24 1,940 Posted October 4, 2012 Yeah if you own Calvin AND dez like i do.....I have to start either Simpson or Britt this week....it is what it is. Im trying as hard as i can not to plug SJAX in tonight instead of Pitta at the flex this weekend....struggling with that one.
RicemanX 20 Posted October 4, 2012 Simpson got 45% of all receiving yards from Ponder last week. If Ponder throws for 300 yards this week, Simpson would get 135 yards. Logic.
