Seahawks Chances @ Atlanta

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking this is the "guarantee" he's talking about.

So are you guaranteeing or not? Sure sounds it

Did I make a guarantee? I understand a lot can happen in a year, injuries and whatnot. No way I can make a guarantee like that. But with the team already having success so young, there is a solid chance. Even you can admit that right?

Yes there is a solid chance but really that's not what you said. There was no chance talk.... you stated you will be here next year.

I like the team a lot, its you guys that are making it hard to want them to succeed but truthfully I want them to win this week

Stop it. Fans are fans. There just happens to be a solid showing of Seahawk fans on this board. And if you show any excitment or enthusiasm towrds your team, you get blasted.

I'll make sure to clarify everything I say a little better knowing Murf is watching. That includes not referring to the team as "we". Thanks for keeping the board honest.

Bitterness is a stinky cologne. His last playoff memory involves losing to a quarterback that couldn't even beat out Mark Sanchez. I actually understand where he's coming from.

After decades of losing franchise support I am sure you do ......what was Steelers last losing season? Look it up

Steelers are down now but you would love to claim 6 superbowl wins and 2 lost.....8 superbowl in my lifetime....u got 1

You make no sense, 3 of those were with Ben at QB, ain't that long ago. Made the playoffs 1 year ago with a 12-4 record, played in a superbowl the year before.

It's not like we are talking Miami dolphins or Oakland Raiders.

You make no sense. Steelers have been relevant forever even this season before injuries they were headed to the playoffs before they pretty much lost out

Yeah glory days of last year's 12-4 season

Hypocrite Murf, no one is allowed to say We when referring to his team but Murf personally claims 8 Super Bowls.

False, I hope they win so the Packers can beat them next week. Aside from obvious revenge reasons, it would be an easier game for the Packers because Atlanta is better and they would also get to play at home.

Edit: Also, Atlanta is favored in this game as well, so no, most people do not think Seattle will win. If Seattle fans are so confident, they should be betting the farm!

Actually, last I saw the line was 2.5 so given that home gives 3 points, people really consider sea a .5 point favorite. Going against Matty ice at home tho? nah, I see a big falcon win here, but man sea plays tough.

Brady got away with at least one other intentional grounding. If a anything the refs kept that game closer then it should have been.

Oh my

Oh my

He was just countering Chaos' incessant babbling about how the Hawks have benefitted from bad ref calls. Both sides have arguments, of course.

another round of "expert" predictions

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/straight-up/19

7 out of 9 predictions for the hawks to win straight up.

No haven't you heard, Seahawks are playing with house money, no pressure, nobody thought they would be here.

At least that's the fans narrative in order to ease pain of any possible loss in the playoffs.

But take comfort Joey said they will be here next year. I don't know if he meant a wildcard team or maybe he meant #1 seed? Probably #1 seed, haven't you heard they are young. all you need is youth and a dynasty magically forms, especially if you win a wildcard playoff game vs. a QB with one leg. Even though it took them all of 4 quarters to finally do it, this shows they will be back again next year

WE!

Don't forget, Pete Carroll is the greatest coach to ever live! He turned that team around!!

Yeah they actually kept the Seachickens in it. The Pats secondary sucked balls then but there were some real horrible calls in that game.

Looking at what I'm looking at. I would've thought that Carroll and Schnieder have turned this team around. :dunno:

This thread has become a complete turd. Thanks losers!

It's become a sitcom on CBS. Sad, demented, horribly unfunny, and full of ugly people.

Another poster with a Seahawk bashing schtick.

I love it. Talk to you all Sunday.

I'm listening, what do you have to say? Blowout city, like I said. Small Time Peyton Manning lost again just like I'd thought he would as well. Not too surprised with the Packers losing, we knew that one could go that way.

Just funny seeing the games turn out and the "experts", or rather, the "betting public" being completely wrong as usual. Vegas was laughing just as I said they were. There was an article on gambling sites that the public was taking the Seahawks, that's why they set the line like they did.

Seahawks WAY too overconfident coming in. Clearly bought into their hype, especially on defense.

Need a TD here and then pull their sh!t together at halftime.
