We all know about Randy's antics & troubles on and off the field during his career. This year he seems to be a little different. Not ranting & raving about getting the ball but trying to be more of a team player & do what's asked of him. Maybe Randy's starting to grow up a little bit? No doubt he's put up some good numbers over his career and will probably make the HOF. From the Randy I've seen this year I'd say yes it would be worth it to see him get a SB ring. If he gets one he may want to come back to the 9ers next year. I've predicted that Flacco gets 1 last Hail Mary with a few seconds left on the clock to try & send it to overtime but what's that we see as the ball comes down in the endzone. Randy Moss intercepts Flacco's pass, game over.

worth it to see a vain, selfish player who has only been successful due to his overwhelming physical gifts get a ring? i think not.

i'm no fan of ray lewis or the ravens, but lewis plays his guts out. there's no give or quit to his game--he leaves it all on the field, and i find that far admirable than someone who can faster and jump higher than anyone else when he feels like it. i would much rather see lewis get his second ring than moss get his first.

So you prefer double murderers that use PEDs, as long as they hustle...over a guy that had an occasional bad attitude and squandered so much of his God given talent that he only became the 2nd greatest WR of all time. Gotcha.

It's ALMOST as if we take our sports too seriously. :dunno:

Of everyone playing I'd like to see Matt Birk get a ring. Should that happen it means antler spray Lewis also gets a ring and Randy doesn't. I've got no horse in this race.

i'm talking about between the lines. one guy gives it all out there, and the other doesn't. i don't know about the other stuff. i don't know if lewis killed anyone, because i didn't see the evidence. i strongly doubt you did either--don't fool yourself into thinking that you got reliable evidence from the press. i don't think much of either of them as human beings, but then again i don't know enough to make an informed judgment.

i favor commitment and effort over complacency and half-assing. period. on the football field, there is no question which of these guys fits which set of criteria. since we're talking about football, that's all that matters to me.

Obviously if we are just basing how we feel about people on what happened "inside the lines", then we would all value the work ethic of Ray Lewis more than Randy Moss.

But as an actual human being, when I think of these guys and decide who to personally root for, the fact that one of them was 100% without a doubt involved in a double murder, and that he 90% likely cheated to play in this game is going to play into how I feel about the guy.

Now I'm not a Ray Lewis hater by any means. I suspect he has turned his life around for the most part and if he gets another ring, cool. But if I can get past being involved in a double murder and probably cheating, then I can sure as hell get past a WR squirting a water bottle at a ref and not hustling when a play is a designed run to the other side.

Do Philadelphia fans walk around with those plastic championship belts around their waists from the Rocky movies?

Do you guys show up to games wearing Vince Papale jerseys or do you just hum Bruce Springsteen's "The Streets of Philadelphia" picking at your HIV sores?

Lashing out at me won't get Tom Brady a real ring.

Why should I care if Randy Moss gets a ring? Dude burned his bridges with so many teams that I just don't have a soft spot for him anymore.

Wasn't Moss just saying he didn't like his role in the offense earlier this week?

Fock Moss and Lewis. I want to see Ed Reed get a ring before he retires.

He may have & it wouldn't surprise if he did say that. He's always gonna want the ball more. Even if he doesn't like his role he's kinda more or less accepted it knowing that this was all he was going to get. He hasn't caused any turmoil or uproar that I've seen. He'll always be egotistical about himself, most athletes are, just some express more than others and do it without thinking first. He may say he's the best WR ever but he knows he'll never surpass Jerry Rice. He's keeping low I guess & if he gets a ring he could always start his antics again. That's when Harbaugh will say Bye-Bye Randy. I hope it doesn't come down to this but Flacco gets 1 last Hail Mary to try and tie the game up, down by 7. As the ball hits the endzone it's intercepted by Randy Moss. Boy, wouldn't his head swell. God, don't give him any material to start his shiot again. 49ers can beat the Ravens without Moss but for not bringing a whole lot of attention to himself & the team this year I'd be ok if he got any amount of yardage and a TD.

I like Moss and consider him probably the best deep threat in the history of the NFL.

I hope he gets his ring tonight.

Moss was treated pretty bad when he was with the Titans.they actually preferred to loose games rather than give Moss a shot any real playing time.

He kept his mouth shut and handles a crappy situation with class. He actually made a new fan during that season.
