remote controller 143 Posted June 10, 2013 White Wonder must be struggling with this decision... It's hard being the defending champion... I've never had that trouble!!!!!

JScott 20 Posted June 10, 2013 Good timing, just logging back on after a quick round of golf... let me just get up to date on who's been taken...
JScott 20 Posted June 10, 2013 Plan A was WR/WR at this turn. Didn't expect Morris to make it to me, thought he'd actually go just before me but the surprise SJax selection changed that. Despite how/why the knee injury happened last season, I expect Shanny to pull the reigns in on RG3 and run Morris into the ground for the next two seasons. RicemanX 20 Posted June 10, 2013 Really like Alf Morris. Considered him at #5 actually. After his strong performance to finish out the season in 2012, I definitely feel like he deserves to be in the conversation for a 1st round pick.
Fumbleweed 516 Posted June 10, 2013 Jackson was a surprise to me, too... But, he's one of the all-time best at RB in my opinion and could really thrive on a time with lots of other weapons.
remote controller 143 Posted June 10, 2013 Targeting morris in all drafts if I pick late in the first. He and lynch intrigue me.

I was hoping he'd fall well into the second round. He's not disappoint WW, in my opinion, I'm just pretty sure he'd have been there when he got home from work. WhiteWonder 2,681 Posted June 10, 2013 I wanted to go running back wide receiver and there were 3 wide receivers I like all the same so just in case J Scott went running back running back I figured I would take my guy first I like Jackson better than Morris
WhiteWonder 2,681 Posted June 10, 2013 I will also add that I fear it feel there is a clear top
RicemanX 20 Posted June 10, 2013 I see a top 11, who would be your odd man out? Megatron?

I don't think there will be many drafts, standard or PPR where Jackson falls past the first few picks of round 2. His ADP at FF Calc is 2.02. He probably would have been there for me at 2.02 but just in case JScott doubled up on RB's and liked SJax, I felt it made sense to take the RB I wanted. Had I decided to go RB/RB i probably would have gone morris first just because he is the more popular pick. I see a top 11, who would be your odd man out? Megatron? I have my top 10 as the 10 players who were selected 1-10. Then I see personal preference between Morris, Jackson, AJ Green, Dez and 2 others for the people picking at the turn. I wouldn't fault anyone for favoring Morris or even going WR/WR I think I had the 12 spot last year and went Peterson/Richardson and no one liked it
Dan 62 Posted June 11, 2013 I considered Calvin Johnson at the #2. I only veered away from him because of the requirements of this draft, and the format that we're drafting towards. RBs are so big, and there aren't a lot of sure-fire studs, so the dream of Calvin had to remain just that . . . But Oh! I wanted to throw that curve so very badly. robb 78 Posted June 11, 2013 I will also add that I fear it feel there is a clear top 10 I agree with this. Maybe even a top 8 as I am not sold on Lynch just yet, for no particular reason. At #12.....Morris is good value and I liked the match to Green (mini-Megatron, ha ha).

For the record, SJax was not on my radar at the turn. I just don't see ATL changing their offense that much where the RB now gets enough touches/TDs to warrent an early or even mid 2nd. I admit, I may be getting caught up in thoughts of 2010/2011 Michael Turner... who would be a clear 1st round producer. Even a completely shot Turner scored double digit TD's in 2012 while offering no yardage through the air. I suppose i'm projecting something in between for Jackson. while he may be turning 30, he has not sniffed 300 carries in a few years so I think he will be fresh as can be hoped for
