So, apparently ... some transgender kid in the first grade ... sued ...

Recommended Posts

AND WON ... the right to use the girls bathroom. Kid was born a boy ... 1st grade ,,,, the kid HOPEFULLY does not fully understand his sexuality.

It's being supported. They won the lawsuit. Everyone has to call the little boy "her" and "she" from now on and pretend that the little boy is a little girl.

Are you focking kidding me? I guess I am a bigot if I think that is bad parenting.

When I was in High School ... public school, a teacher in a "Literature" class made us read and memorize parts of the bible, and I refused. And my Jewish parents .... sided with the teacher. "It's literature." I showed them, I ditched the final and got an F.

Of course that was the 1880's .... when kids just did what they were told.

1880s? I thought you were a couple of years older than me, not a couple of years older than Phurfur's dad.

I was conceived during '69.

I'm either 143 years old ... or I carried a 1 when I shouldn't have.

Also ... if that is how it works now ... I am gonna get a spray tan and convert to Hispanic. I've always felt Hispanic ... deep down .... even though I am pale and freckly.

Or at least "Senor Giants Fan". I am officially, publicly making the conversion to Hispanic .... right here, right now.

I grew up in Arizona ... wells. My step-father grew up in Queens, NY. Legally ... I am part black. By marriage.

Despite it all ... I am West Coast. I hafta admit my heritage ... as much as I want to be hardcore NY. I grew up, a 45 minute drive from Mexico.

I drive a car made 5 years before I was born ... fix it up a little at a time ... classic Mexican.

Even the other day, a pan handler sees me getting into my car and he says, "Hey wetto." He figured I was a light skinned Mexican ... driving a car like that.

"Wetto" is a term of endearment used towards light skinned Mexicans.

My blood Grandfather ... well, he was pretty much 100 percent wasp, like my other 3 grandparents.

He looked a lot like Robert Duvall .... and he had a way about him .... when he would dish out advice ... very much like Hodges, but he wasn't a cop, he was a lawyer.

There was no dancing around it with him ... he was straight to the point, but not in a hurry.

"No son ... let's walk down ... and fock 'em all."

Wow, you too?!?!

Well, that's going around a lot lately. For me two weeks ago, overnight, POW! I decided that I'm Latino. You know, I always liked the food: tacos, burritos, salsa, beans, sour cream.

Ever since SCOTUS's racist Affirmative Action ruling, my eyes were opened to my Hispanic side. I feel the need to liberated of my whiteness and am so ready to renounce it instead of passing on this debilitating condition to my not-half-Chinese-no-matter-what-anyone-says children.

Which spray tan do you recommend?

I don't think the spray tan is as crucial as the 1965 Mercury. Apparently you can go without the spray tan, and still be confused for Hispanic.

I was also once engaged to a Mexican girl. Was good that it never happened ... Roman Catholic and Jewish usually don't mix.

My dad was raised Christian but converted to Judiasm ...wait a second ... you are saying that it's OK to change your sex .... it's OK to change your religion .... but your race .... you are stuck with?

Michael Jackson was pretty damn white in the end ... if you ask me.

I eat a lot of beans and tortillas, with melted cheese and salsa. I put salsa in my eggs. I put salsa in cottage cheese.

All I need is to like get some 14 year old pregnant ... and I'm official.

You're not a biggot - just apparently unaware that some kids really are born as transgenders. It's a horrible situation for the parents, the kid, and everyone in society who has to deal with it. Totally screwed up DNA, but what can you do after they're born? Someday, genetic engineering will erradicate this problem... (perhaps all gays in general), but for the time being, it's a problem.

I don't support the "right to use the girls bathroom" though... obviously there needs to be a transgender bathroom which is what some colleges are already doing nowadays. As for calling him a "she" and a "her"... meh, it's probably the polite thing to do. Even though it's freaky as hell.

Curious, we have men, women, and transgendered bathrooms. Can I demand a whites only bathroom or a straight men only bathroom?

Or is that bad?

I'll never understand the bafroom hangup. One is for people with peemuses who can stand to pee, the other isn't. Why does this kid need to use the girls' room? :dunno:

A fair question, but can't you flip it around too? As in, so what if he needs to use the girls' bathroom?

Really they should just have unisex bathrooms, like they did with separate handicap bathrooms. Not everywhere, but in big public areas like schools and parks. :dunno:

Try to keep up

The U.S. Department of Education recently announced that it will no longer use the terms "mother" and "father" when collecting information about a student's legal parents when those parents apply for federal student aid. Instead of using the words "mother" and "father," the new Free Application for Federal Student Aid form (FAFSA) will use "Parent 1" and "Parent 2."

I'd guess multiple individual restrooms are more expensive to build and maintain, even if you theoretically need fewer overall stalls. Also I'm not sure schools want the general population in rooms they can lock.

Mebbe he's just smarter than we were at his age. :dunno:

I remember in my high school weight room (which had a door to the wimmens locker room) we took our knives and throughout 1 semester, we carved our way to a peephole to watch them undress and stuff...Granted, out peephole only lasted 2 weeks or so, but it was SOOOO worth it.

I never saw any bush, and I don't remember seeing any bare titties, but seeing them in panties and bras was good enough for me at the time :first:

The only people born with screwy DNA that you could make a case for are the retards. Everything wrote is theoretical and completely ignores the effects of environment.

Kids are stupid until they hit their teens, and then they are only a little bit less stupid. You can't expect a young kid to have the first clue about their sexuality or identity until much later in life. There is something more sinister at work here.

I think there is some self fulfilling prophesy here for the type of kids crying out for attention when you get to these extreme levels of catering and creating special classes of people...

I had a teacher in HS who gave a yearly speech to the seniors not to get married until they are 30 because of the phases you go through in life. In general its probably pretty good advice.

I don't think public schools should be in the business of sexual identity.

Number of stalls is driven by the building code and occupancy of the building. X number of stalls per X number of students or square footage of the building, or whatever the formula is for schools. Putting those X number of stalls in several single occupancy bathrooms is obviously more expensive and yes I'd imagine being able to lock doors is problematic as well from a safety perspecive.
