pbev21 2 Posted August 17, 2013 1pt/25yds pssing, 1pt/10yds rushing, 6pts all TDs, -2pts/ints Luck or Romo? Luck ahead of Romo on most rankings Who do ya like better and why?

ian Potter 9 Posted August 17, 2013 Try the help bored Try the grammar board! Had to say it and my grammar and spelling are terrible. Coin flip but I might go with Luck. Better offense, weaker division, and worse defense.
Gladiators 2,024 Posted August 17, 2013 Welcome to the boreds... I'll take Luck for the upside
IGotWorms 4,060 Posted August 17, 2013 Romo. He's always undervalued. Luck was not that great statistically speaking last year. He'll be better this year but I still think Romo outperforms him.
jdon 28 Posted August 17, 2013 ha ha ha... great topic. I was debating that tonight and ended up taking them both. lol I took Romo first in the 8th, then Luck was still around the 9th so I took him as well. I was very happy the way it worked out... ultimately Romo is better as he has better people to throw to (dez mutha fuckin bryant anyone?)

jwhit2736 1 Posted August 17, 2013 I would also take Romo. He has one of the best Wr's to throw to in Dez, Te's in Witten and if he could ever stay on the field one of the better number two receivers in Miles Austin, not to mention he has two great pass catching backs in Murray and Joe Randle. Romo always is undervalued in fantasy because the perception of him being a choke artist in big games but he is always a top 8 or 9 QB or better and is usually drafted around Qb 11 or 12
5Year1 23 Posted August 17, 2013 It is close. I would give Romo a slight edge because I think he and Dez could have a lot of hook ups and TDs this year, but would not be dissatisfied with either in the same situation.
MDC 7,652 Posted August 17, 2013 Romo. Better weapons and I expect the Colts to throw less this season. I like Luck too but is consider him a low end starter with a lower ceiling.
dcgangstas 41 Posted August 17, 2013 Romo. He has a superior receiving corps, and statistically Romo has the best strength of schedule for opponents' passing yards allowed (based on 2012 statistics) in the NFL. Granted Romo isn't a winner by playoff standards, but he is a pretty safe bet for around 4750 yards passing and 30 TDs. Those are Matt Ryan sort of numbers, and you can get Romo several rounds later. Just DC's $0.02.
ralphster 274 Posted August 17, 2013 This year in redraft its Romo. Dynasty its Luck.

Just DC's $0.02. Just like he fails in real football, Romo will let you down in fantasy. Look up his September and October stats, very frequently they suck. He'll heat up in November and December (if he doesn't get himself injured by then) but by that point you are sitting in a big hole. Whoever drafts him is probably wasting a roster spot for the first 8 weeks of the fantasy season...which is more than half of it.
Djgb13 2,339 Posted August 18, 2013 I would go with Luck if I could help it. He will also have rushing touchdowns. Romo though is very undervalued. Im targeting Romo for the 7-9 round. Load up at RB and WR early.
CSWR 0 Posted August 18, 2013 I'd give Romo the edge for one more year, but I can see things changing in 2014.
thePRO 78 Posted August 18, 2013 Romo. I think the difference will be about 2 ppg when it's all said an done.
smashmouths@blf 33 Posted August 18, 2013 Tough call here. I like Luck a little better. He had an awesome first season and should only get better in year two. The colts don't have a running game so you can count on 40 to 50 passing attempts most games. Also, Luck's rushing is underrated. He's a great athlete and will vulture some short yardage td's. montana 89 Posted August 18, 2013 I get bonuses at 300+ yards on.. There was only 1 QB that threw for 300+ more times than Romo did....Brees. Brees = 2nd/3rd Round Romo = 7th/9th Round
