Foster hurts his hamstring, Tate breaks 4 ribs and number three on the depth chart, Cierre Wood, gets released for smoking dope in the team hotel last week. Sounds like the Texans may be signing a running back during their bye week.

Is foster hammy serious?

Hammys are one of those things that it really doesn't matter how bad it is (other than a rupture) they are so prone to reinjury that they almost always take 6-8 weeks, at least for non-pro athletes. If it is really minor I could see it being a 2-4 week thing with NFL trainers, but wouldn't count on him not missing any time.

I figured this would happen. Tate is too fragile, he's always injured. The only reason it doesn't matter is Foster is in front of him and is such a workhorse. Tate is a waste of a roster spot.

Well depending on your format. I am holding onto Tate, as I play in a keeper league and have an eye towards him being a free agent next season. Having said that, I am watching his injury performance this year as closely as his playing performance. The fact he played through the rib injury says a lot, as does his intent to play in Week 9. If I were re-draft, I would probably still keep him as Foster is dealing with his own lingering injuries.

So I'm guessing all this means that people aren't very high on Tate going forward?

I own foster and Tate. I'm still high on Tate. He drew KC defense his first real test with Case Keenum at Qb.

Not as high as Cierre Wood!
