Mike FF Today 721 Posted October 22, 2013 Foster hurts his hamstring, Tate breaks 4 ribs and number three on the depth chart, Cierre Wood, gets released for smoking dope in the team hotel last week. Sounds like the Texans may be signing a running back during their bye week.

p00h 85 Posted October 22, 2013 Is foster hammy serious?
MSin 0 Posted October 22, 2013 Is foster hammy serious? Hammys are one of those things that it really doesn't matter how bad it is (other than a rupture) they are so prone to reinjury that they almost always take 6-8 weeks, at least for non-pro athletes. If it is really minor I could see it being a 2-4 week thing with NFL trainers, but wouldn't count on him not missing any time.

lickin_starfish 1,894 Posted October 22, 2013 I traded him a few weeks ago! ...for David Wilson.
Serpent 51 Posted October 22, 2013 I figured this would happen. Tate is too fragile, he's always injured. The only reason it doesn't matter is Foster is in front of him and is such a workhorse. Tate is a waste of a roster spot.

TimHauck 2,633 Posted October 22, 2013 So I'm guessing all this means that people aren't very high on Tate going forward?
R8RMick 242 Posted October 22, 2013 Well depending on your format. I am holding onto Tate, as I play in a keeper league and have an eye towards him being a free agent next season. Having said that, I am watching his injury performance this year as closely as his playing performance. The fact he played through the rib injury says a lot, as does his intent to play in Week 9. If I were re-draft, I would probably still keep him as Foster is dealing with his own lingering injuries.
Kent 228 Posted October 22, 2013 So I'm guessing all this means that people aren't very high on Tate going forward? I own foster and Tate. I'm still high on Tate. He drew KC defense his first real test with Case Keenum at Qb.
IRBIR 0 Posted October 23, 2013 I own foster and Tate. I'm still high on Tate. He drew KC defense his first real test with Case Keenum at Qb. Not as high as Cierre Wood!
