seh2000 5 Posted October 27, 2013 Been disappointment so far...anyone thinking he turns it around and becomes relevant again?
Matt Mueller 146 Posted October 27, 2013 He was slow out of the gates last year, not to this degree and was nicked up, but finished strong. He's actually been pretty decent on a per target basis as far as production. He just hasn't gotten the targets. Maybe it changes this week. I don't think he will produce at least years pace though... browns16-0 30 Posted October 27, 2013 Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think Colston will be fine. I think he ends up with the same numbers he puts up every season.
Giants Fan 85 Posted October 27, 2013 He's a boom/bust guy. If you drafted him, you gotta start him every week. The problem is, Brees has proven many times that he can find the open target, while picking apart a secondary. So, Colston often does not get a lot of targets, since he draws the most coverage. He'll have big games and then vanish. Overvalued in drafts this year.
FakeFoozballIzFun 6 Posted October 27, 2013 Think he'll be more involved than he has been recently with Graham hurt.

ZeroTolerance 582 Posted October 27, 2013 Bye weeks passing, I will be able to banish him to the bench starting next week.
browns16-0 30 Posted October 27, 2013 Yup, I was wrong on this guy. I expected a big game from him today. That's 3 terrible weeks in a row, cannot be trusted.
IMMensaMind 460 Posted October 27, 2013 Just traded him and Mike James for C2ZeroK and Roddy White.
murf74 461 Posted October 27, 2013 See Dwayne Bowe, Miles Austin, Hakeem Nicks,.....it's the changing of the fantasy WR guard. Jump ship
FakeFoozballIzFun 6 Posted October 27, 2013 Eh...emerging Kenny Stills...Lance Moore back from injury...another dud game even with Graham banged up...he's glued to the bench until further notice.

Slickwilly465 0 Posted October 28, 2013 Traded knowshon for him a few weeks ago thinking he would have a monster second half of the season. Boy do I feel like a dumb fukk.
Dueces Will Be Wild 15 Posted October 28, 2013 As a Saints fan it saddens me to say it but I think he's done. He was never really fast to begin with and I think he's definitely lost a step. He's an all-time great saint so I hope I'm wrong but I don't think so.
KeithM 0 Posted October 28, 2013 Colston is dead to me. The few times I've seen him play, he just doesn't seem to be interested in going all out or he truly has lost a step. In any event, it will be Decker, Douglas, and Fitz the rest of the way with DeAndre Hopkins ready for bye weeks. However, I just realized that Fitz and Decker are on bye this week, so it looks like I'll have to roll the dice one more week with Colston.
kobe808lak 7 Posted October 28, 2013 This guy is a scrub.
Upper Class Trash 67 Posted October 28, 2013 He also carries a high cap hit next season. With New Orleans already in salary cap purgatory, he is a prime suspect to be released. Their young WR's are looking good.
hoytdwow 202 Posted October 28, 2013 my thoughts are that I'm not going to play him anymore
harry_hood 1 Posted October 28, 2013 This guy is a scrub. I don't want no scrub. Dropped him a couple weeks ago, no regrets.

SaintsInDome2006 128 Posted October 28, 2013 Something's off. He's not getting separation and he's not skying for balls. This has been just too long of a draught, unfortunately I think we're going to see the Saints start moving in a different direction this year, whether it be Stills, Moore, Toon, Watson, or Hill, something has to give, especially with Jimmy being so limited. ZeroTolerance 582 Posted October 28, 2013 No, no he's not either of those. I dunno, he seems to have the 'bust' down pretty well.
SaintsInDome2006 128 Posted October 28, 2013 I dunno, he seems to have the 'bust' down pretty well. Ha, yeah, good point - no, I meant that he has traditionally been Mr. Consistency with a decent floor, a reliable target for Brees in good times and bad and rarely ever having say 2-3 bad weeks in a row. And also he is of course no longer an every week starter as Giants Fan has it.
