Id like to see vegas o/u on Trich, Spiller and Mcoys rush yds last year. Football is random, anything can and will happen.

why not include AsshatP while you're at it ... foo' ran his fockin' yap last preseason about getting 2,500 yds rushing, and barely got slightly more than half of that.

betcha Vegas made a friggin' KILLING fleecing of his taint lapping, nut hugging nancy fanboys who actually bought into his ridiculous boasting

When will Peyton Manning break Favre's all time TD Pass record of 508 (Notes: Needs 18 TD Passes to break it)

Week 7 or Before -130 (10/13)

Week 8 or After EVEN (1/1)

I don't understand how the over/under is supposed to add anything? It's basically just another set of projections :dunno:

Projections by people who have the highest success rate of any one. Vegas is Vegas because they make money by making projections. To me these are the truest things you can get.

The over under is set where they think they can make the most money from bets.

Yes thank you, I know how it works. However it's still just a projection. Are you saying other projection sites don't have an incentive for accuracy or something?

Yea I guess that's exactly what I'm saying. There's zero correlation between fantasy sites projecting players stats and Vegas o/u lines. it's exactly as I said, it's where they feel they can make money. Setting an o/u and projecting stats are completely different things. Yea in a roundabout way they can be called projections since there's a player name and a number next to it.

FWIW they set these benchmarks in the middle of where they think people will bet, not necessarily where they think the end of year total actually lies.

Vegas loves to be on the winning side of bets that has everyone betting the losinv way, but they prefer to be right in the middle since thats how they make most their money.

Fantasy props are low limit entertainment wagers. Like a bonus promotion. Even if a sportsbook takes a loss on them overall, it doesn't really hurt them, and will lead to new customers betting sports and casino.

Plus they don't have to be very sharp to make money on a 15 cent line…. just have some kid hang the yahoo predictions as over/unders and put -115 on both sides and you're likely going to win.
