crackattack 520 Posted July 26, 2016 Obama and Hillary are smarter than them, nothing to worry about, move along instead lets worry about that Cross someone put up on their private property that might offend someone Yep. Bring in 100,000 of them. It's not like we weren't warned. Stupid is as stupid does.

Willis McGahee's Dentist 61 Posted July 26, 2016 Yes...it is dumb criticism. It shows a lack of understanding about what most of these convention speeches are about Just a complete whining crap from the right. No flags...no ISIS...no USA chants...they had a wall!!! Maybe they can have some reality TV contestants on tonight to discuss trade and foreign policy...draped in a flag singing Lee focking Greenwood. Maybe they can get Meat Loaf and Gary Busey. titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted July 26, 2016 I'm wondering if any democrats or supporters of bringing these refugees here are starting to waver in that support. I have. I used to think it was our duty to help since we made it worse over there. Now, no thanks. Our government is to inept to properly screen or vet these people. Not counting the logistic nightmare of doing it from countries with no real record keeping. I guess that's my nationalism kicking in. One potential American life saved is worth more then bringing in 100,000 refugees and risking it. I'm a liberal, and I'm against it. Help fund refugee camps? Sure. Send aid? Absolutely. Let them live here? No way.

We have to wait for the real talent to come in and mention ISIS? What a fawking joke.
wiffleball 4,797 Posted July 26, 2016 So last night was the JV team? We have to wait for the real talent to come in and mention ISIS? What a fawking joke. So I'm going to guess that you didn't watch the convention and are just parroting Trump's simple minded talking point. Which is ironic, because his Count Chocula wife didn't mention ISIS either as I recall... LOL

wiffleball 4,797 Posted July 26, 2016 For those of us who DID watch the convention, we would know that Cory Booker knocked it out of the park when it came to gun violence in the entire country. Perhaps they're prioritizing things, no? Or perhaps you'd like to fall victim yet again to the George Bushian logic of "kill them over there before they kill us here.' Yeah, let's go invade Syria. Worked so well in Iraqistan. Oh snap! That actually enabled ISIS. Damn. I do propose we settle the fugees in Haiti though. Perhaps Guam or Somoa. Possibly Detroit. Plenty of infrastrucure, desperately in need of entrepenuers. What the hell, we already gave them Deerborn.
Hardcore troubadour 15,911 Posted July 26, 2016 I listened to Bookers speech, but I had to turn the volume down, he had the yelling preacher thing going on. I heard about love and other stuff. Can anyone tell me a few things he said that were so compelling? Or was it the showmanship that wowed everyone? A couple of quotes would be nice. Thanks

Hardcore troubadour 15,911 Posted July 26, 2016 How come we didnt ask permission to go into Pakistan to get Bin Laden but we had to ask permission to send help to our people under attack in Libya? Anyone?

Hardcore troubadour 15,911 Posted July 26, 2016 It's funny that James Comey is such a wise and honorable man when it comes to not indicting HRC, but when he gets in front of congress and the world and says bringing in refugees is a bad idea, he's dismissed. Was he fear mongering too? Any of the lib-bots care to answer that one? Come on slownuff, you have been selectively engaging me today. Any input on this reasonable question? Can only hope that other countries will be willing to share Intel with us if Hillary wins. She's a bit careless and negligent with securing it, according to the FBI director. I'll take it. If he had the proof that Hilary committed a crime he should have indicted her. Now he may know she did, but have a difficult case to prove. That may be why he didn't. I don't know. I suspect she covered her tracks pretty well, she seems to. As for the other half of your question, I agree with him.
