buy low / sell low - traded ARob for Hopkins

Traded my disappointing WR ARob for disappointing WR Hopkins with the belief that he is more likely to turn it around. MUCH easier schedule than ARob for the rest of the season.

 

Thoughts? Good deal? Bad deal? Meaningless deal?

Robinson, my 2nd round pick, is the only player on my roster not ranked in the top 10 at his position.

At least Hopkins has proven he can be productive when his qb sucks. ARob wasn't very good 2 years ago when Bortles blowed.

Looks like In ppr Hopkins is avg one more point per game over Robinson.

 

I know Hopkins has the better marchups coming up , and I feel more comfortable about Robinson and Bortles getting things right over Hopkins and Osweiller.

definitely mixed reviews on this! let's see how it plays out over the next few weeks. So far ARob had an "ok" game vs Tennessee last night, let's see how Hopkins does this Sunday....

As a die-hard Lion fan, I see Osweiler looking like Keenum and Hoyer, i.e.. Like an All-Pro. Slay is out Hopkins is gonna have a big game...

They are both a mess but I would prefer to have Robinson. They both have to deal with bad QB play but at least Bortles keeps slinging it to Arob. 15 targets is great, now if just a majority of them are catchable.

FWIW, Jags are bringing in a new QB coach to work on Bortles' mechanics. It can't get much worse than here, and Robinson is still getting looks. While his schedule is the definition of BRUTAL down the stretch, garbage time is always nice.
