North Korea sounds reasonable

You will never have that chance, jerk off. Sorry

I'd rather have red ants crawl up my arse than have a beer with the likes of you.

Stop making such broad brushed statements. I do not like Chinese steel.

Well at least you finally admitted you were a Socialist. Good for you for coming out.

One windbag two winsbags three windbags

There's probably ten conservative posters, whose responses are interchangeable. At least WIff and I can compose an original thought.

Fixed it for you

I was gonna say that, but figured it was too obscure. My dad was a chemical engineer for Bethlehem Steel back in the day, played football at Lehigh and grew up in White Hall. My mom was from Quakertown.

No way. Small world. I worked exclusively in the coke ovens repairing fire brick in 1995, through the bricklayers union. Filthy place. Had black soot in my skin for months after leaving there. It's now called Sands Casino. Great entertainment there.

Taconite, coke and limestone

Fed my children and made my pay

Them smokestacks reaching like the arms of god

Into a beautiful sky of soot and clay

Naomi, read "the girl with seven names." Great book you'd enjoy I think. It's about a woman who was forced to flee noko, her harrowing journey through china, getting her family out, etc.

Since she grew up a malnourished North Korean girl, I'm gonna go with smaller than mine.

I'm not reading it now.

I watched her Ted Talk...think I actually posted it here a couple years ago, or another poster did. A friend gave me Yeonmi Park's autobiography (another young woman who escaped) 'In Order to Live' about two Christmas's ago. I need to read it.

BUT, I wasn't saying North Korea is reasonable generally speaking. A lot of their return rhetoric in this current situation has been.

I have zero problem with trying to remove the Kim dynasty. Those are some evil fockers. The Issue is collateral damage.

And to try to do it without chink help, or at least strong acquiescence, is madness.

I say we cut a deal with Beijing. They help us safely get rid of Kim. Turn noko over to soko. All us troops out within five years.

In return... Taiwan? Never heard of em.

My parents left before I was born, but I visited the grandparents in Quakertown every summer growing up. I was in med school in '95.

Agreed.

And honestly, I wouldn't even stop there.

All them damn Kardashians need to die.
