Cloud of suspicion comes from having multiple campaign officials and parts of his admin be busted lying about having communication with a country who has been shown to have taken measures to try and affect our election process. This has led to the firing of his National Security. advisor (who should have never been hired) as well as his AG revising himself from the investigation (which includes both congressional committees, the FBI and a special counsel appointed by the assistant AG.
