Well you never listened to me and prolly rando bought

Get coinbase wallet and a cryptohopper account and run bots it's easy and takes almost no effort

Start with $200, use conservative settings and it'll be worth 2k+ in 1/4 year if you use the right bot.

Okay. Get a Crypto wallet:

https://www.binance.us/

Get a Coinbase and fund your Binance account with it. Start with $200-$500.

Go to:

https://www.cryptohopper.com/

Create account and link it to Binance with an API.

Once that's done go to the Marketplace on Cryptohopper and pick a strategy. I use a rotation of these but they all work in any market with the right settings.

https://www.cryptohopper.com/marketplace/item?item_id=10

https://www.cryptohopper.com/marketplace/item?item_id=3

https://www.cryptohopper.com/marketplace/item?item_id=72 (smaller gains but more consistent)

Once you pick a strat load it into your default template (you'll know what that means when you get here) and save it.

Pick a combination of 6-10 cryptos for the bot to trade between against USD. Make sure BTC, LTC and ETH are all included in that as they are the most consistent historically.

Do that and I'll give you my signal settings in PM.

This isn’t work?

I already have a binance account.   Right now, it’s all in bitcoin.

I’ll do the rest tomorrow when I’m less drunk and more awake.

After the initial setup not really. I put in a 1-5 hours a week just depends what I have going on, but you don't even need to be that invested in it. You can set custom email alerts on Cryptohopper so you don't need to log on everyday. Once it's all setup you will click start bot and you're on auto pilot. Usually takes about 12 hours after turning it on to calculate it's first buy.

Make sure when you are setting it up you used USD as your base currency so the bot knows its trading against USD. You can use Bitcoin as your base but the daily swings are pretty stressful so I mainly stick with Gov Fiat for my base.

Thanks 90s.  I know you've been recommending this for a while, but I think I really have to give it a try now.

There is some sort of subscription fee for the bot, is that correct?

Can you try mining one of the altcoins?  Probably alot more profit in other coins and less people mining them as well so it'll be easier for your system to complete blocks

Unfortunately no. My miner is specific to bitcoin

Some are paid some are free. The Yama Uba use to be free and was so good the creator moved it to paid. Try messing with that one first.

Can you link me to the miner you have? I tried going back a few pages but couldn't find it. It might be pretty easy to switch it to mine something else.

Interestingly how is this actually working out for you? And how is this better than just long tern holding BTC which is up 36% past 12 months?

Anyone familiar with brave browser and BAT?

I have around 250 BAT earned from the ads on the browser and want to transfer them out.

From what I can tell,

- create account with Uphold

- transfer BAT from brave to Uphold

??

Can I then transfer from Uphold to binance or coinbase? Or is Uphold a place to hold and trade from?

Is one better than the other? (Goal would be to hold or trade the BAT, not cash out)

Also, is there any reason to wait, I assume the price of BAT is irrelevant to this transaction since I won't be cashing out.

You should keep holding those, I think BAT eventually explodes. I posted about it in this thread a year or so ago when Brave was doing their launch.

I would move them to a Coinbase vault.

I have my bots setup to think like me 24/7. When im asleep it's trading for me. Yes if your bot doesn't beat B&H you did something wrong.

It looks like there is no way to transfer BAT from brave mobile browser, which is what I use.

I guess they will sit there and collect dust for now

Once you have them on Upload you can move them to Coinbase. I would keep holding though.

Isn't the IRS looking into this and charging capital gains tax based on every single crypto purchase?

I think Im going to try this and see if it works out. Im going to put in more than 500 in to start and see if it does anything. My assets have just been sitting there and are around the same value as a few years ago

What percentage of profits do you have them take out 90s?

I have multiple bots running with different strategies. When I first turn one on I start it low, let it make a few trades then I bleed more money into it.

Sweetness!  What happens after 7 days?  Do you slide into one of their packages?  I see they have like four tiers, is your trial period for "Hero" tier?

Bump for @Frozenbeernuts

How's it going a week in?  It seems like BTC was very steady for most of the week and then dropped a bit.  Did your bot make any trades?  🤔

I mined about $10 in bitcoin and then shut the machine down. It was driving the wife crazy and I was spending more in electricity than I was mining anyway.

I opened an account at Coinbase but holy hell their customer service sucks. I don't even think it exists. So I went to Gemini bought some ETH and transferred it to Blockfi to make some interest while I wait for ETH2.0 staking.

All in all my first dive into crypto hasn't been easy. It's interesting how the banking system slows crypto WAY down. I have to wait a week for funds to deposit but can move crypto across accounts in seconds.

My bot has not made opened a single position. That was in part because of the market being sideways the entire time, and because I did a few things I shouldn't have. I am going to join the paid subscription today and see where it goes from here.

I don't understand why it has to be so loud.  It's just a computer, right, it's not actually mining anything?  🤔

Thing probably needs an industrial fan to keep it cool.

The stupid fans just go, full board, the whole time. If I could slow the fans down without going into the root it would be so much better. My basement stays super cold as is and don't need the super cooling

Bitcoin is doing well. Most alts took a shlt compared to their highs in 2017.
