Yes it was overblown. The unfortunate part was how he was treated by the city. Alex Gonzalez's error was the reason the Cubs lost

Funny thing is time and time again Bartman says he would rather this just go away and be forgotten. He has never spoken to the media, turned down offers to throw out first pitches. and just wants to live a quiet life,

 

Then the Cubs go and do something stupid like this and bring it up ALL OVER AGAIN. Bet he never thought the team he liked so much would continue to fock up his life.
