edjr 6,578 Posted July 31, 2017 Fock that. if I were Bartman the only thing that would make me happy is Moisés Alou's head on a platter.
cyclone24 1,912 Posted July 31, 2017 Good for him...been too long. Should have the guy throw out a first pitch.
TimmySmith 2,782 Posted July 31, 2017 Way overblown, just like Buckner's error. Both non elimination game 6's.
Frozenbeernuts 2,114 Posted July 31, 2017 Way overblown, just like Buckner's error. Both non elimination game 6's. Yes it was overblown. The unfortunate part was how he was treated by the city. Alex Gonzalez's error was the reason the Cubs lost
supermike80 1,803 Posted July 31, 2017 Funny thing is time and time again Bartman says he would rather this just go away and be forgotten. He has never spoken to the media, turned down offers to throw out first pitches. and just wants to live a quiet life, Then the Cubs go and do something stupid like this and bring it up ALL OVER AGAIN. Bet he never thought the team he liked so much would continue to fock up his life. Let it die Cubs and Cubs fans, let it die

The Red Sox still would have had a chance going to the 11th inning tied Meh, wild pitch tied the game and yet people only remember Buckner. Took a village to lose that one. And of course game 7. Cruzer 1,995 Posted July 31, 2017 Classy move by the Cubs.

There is so many reasons they lost that game. I admitted it was over-blown, but people are mostly idiots. also, it was a passed ball IMHO, scorer blew that call
Cruzer 1,995 Posted July 31, 2017 Nelson Cruz not catching that final fly ball out in Game 6 wasn't overblown.. Fock you Nelson Cruz.
vuduchile 1,945 Posted July 31, 2017 I don't get it. He had nothing to do with the Cubs winning the Series. And he had only a marginal impact on that game 6 back in '03. Why not go ahead give Alou or Gonzalez a ring while you're at it?
