So he was on RECORD as to taking up DACA. I linked it. He said it would be voted on this year. That's a fact and on record. He was also on record as to how it would be voted on. I linked that also. That's a fact. I don't give a fock if they vote on it at midnight of the expiration date. If it gets a vote this year, and before DACA expires, he did exactly what he was on RECORD of saying He would.

THis year...thats a pretty long time frame isnt it? Especially with the white house saying they may start deporting people as soon as March 5. With 800,000 or so people in the line...democrats got that moved up to an actual timeframe smaller than just ...sometime in 2018.

Has given us time...hardly saying he will actually do so. Then he promised Flake I believe it would come up immediately for his support in the tax bill. He balked in that (as well as issues with promises to Collins).

He had to be pressured to have it really happen...now he has 3 weeks.

Democrats have three weeks to build support and get their thoughts out there. They have support (mostly) from the public. They have to use this time to take the leverage they have now with this and use it to their advantage. Not sure they have it in them to actually do it.

Well, I'm sure McConnell isn't involved in writing every piece of legislation, no senator is. But, it's his job to bring it to a vote. If he promised Flake he would, then it'll be on him to follow thru. Seems like all the criteria has been met(except a daca bill), they just need to bring a bill to McConnell to bring to a vote.
