Wasn't there a lineman that was around 300?  I mean they would have to be in the game for almost 19 years...

I meant Bruce Matthews - he's proll;y who you were thinking.

Darrel Green played in 295

Bruce Mathews(not Clay Sr) played in 296

I love Jerry Rice.

Jerry Rice never fizzled out. Those later years, he always seemed to wind up on my redraft teams. I never regretted picking him. He'd slip in the draft because people suspected this might be the year he wore out.. (Lke Irving Frier who had went from Pro Bowl directly to toilet bowl after one off season) Nope. Jerry never disappointed or let me down. He's 36. He's 37. He's 38. Is this the year he fades? Nope. Never happened. He was in Oakland by that point and wasn't the dominant #1 overall WR he'd been in SF anymore but I'd get him in the 4th round and he'd outperform younger hotshot guys drafted ahead of him, delivering solid, mid-lower end WR1 numbers every year until the day he hung up his cleats.

My main league (deep keeper) used to have a supplemental draft midway through the season; 4 rounds, you could pick or not.  Mostly it was an excuse to get together and drink; a few people would shed some junk and grab more junk.  We did cut off waiver pickups a few weeks before to make it a little interesting.  Anyway, you could pick up a dropped player, which we hadn't thought of until the year somebody dropped Rice just before my turn.  We looked at each other  and I picked him up.  Sure he was older and not getting kept but like you said, he was more than startable until he retired.

After that we made the Jerry Rice rule prohibiting the pickup of dropped players during the supplemental.

I just saw this recently, so maybe some of yall know it as it’s circulated a bit.

What NFL head coach has more rushing yards than Bo Jackson?

Jim Harbaugh. Fun fact: I saw Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders each hit a homerun and Score a touchdown.
