Harvick not making it would prove exactly what I said when they announced this system...absurd that the best driver over the season would be locked out of the championship going into the last race. Busch proved it was a broken system in 2015 and Newman again in 2016.. You could win 35 races in a row, blow a tire at Phoenix and lose the championship.
