Here's an idea for you then.  For your crusade for Women's Choice... go start a Go Fund Me page.  All of the money donated will go to pay for any abortion.  That way, people can put their money where their mouths are.  If you think that tax money should pay for abortions, you'd have no issue donating to this.  Right?  We all win.  Abortions won't cost the women or the government any money.  What's the problem?

Then the law may have to change to support that.  There are far bigger problems ethically long before a fetus is viable at conception.  You get into cloning and other ethical nightmares, so your hypothetical is really not applicable yet.  Let's deal with today and the next 5-10 years or so.

Are you talking about advancements in technology? It won't change my opinion. I'm against third trimester. I have no problem with first trimester if that's what the mother deems best, and as for the second trimester (which I'm very strongly against to begin with), I'd have no problem with a law that makes it illegal after week 22 (which is the earliest gestational age doctors feel a baby is viable to live outside the womb).   Technology or medical advancement will not alter my opinion.
