Go figure, David Crosby was a known heavy drug user and this genius didn't give a shlt about the fact that his genes were going to be part of the child.

Beckett Cypher, the son of Melissa Etheridge and her former partner Julie Cypher, has died, a representative for the singer told CNN. He was 21.

The singer mourned her son in a social media post on Wednesday.

"Today I joined the hundreds of thousands of families who have lost loved ones to opioid addiction," Etheridge wrote on Twitter. "My son Beckett, who was just 21, struggled to overcome his addiction and finally succumbed to it today. He will be missed by those who loved him, his family and friends."

 

Etheridge and Cypher, who have been separated for many years, also share a daughter, Bailey. Both children were conceived using artificial insemination and a sperm donation from musician David Crosby.

In 1982, after being convicted of several drugs and weapons offenses, Crosby spent nine months in a Texas state prison. The drug charges were related to possession of heroin and cocaine.

Starting to think newbie's father did a lot of drugs as well. newbie abandoned his own kid because he wasn't man enough so he had to give her to a real man to take of and raise. This is starting to make sense now.

Let me rethink this all. I hit post by mistake before I was finished with the thread so I ended up posting twice and then I deleted one.

Then you whine about it. Then newbie whines about. Then I expose newbie for the deadbeat dad that he is, because that's newbie. And Ethridge still had chosen a drug addict criminal to be the father of her son. Then you tell me to own it. Ok. I do own it.

Wait just one second here.  I thought kids raised by gay parents had the perfect world and were showered with love, affection and happiness and unburdened by the traditional parents that sometimes argue and fight. 

Why on earth would a child raised in such a warm, inclusive and loving household want to do drugs?

I mean I'm sure he was fine with the weird way he was sired right?  That won't mess with any kids head.   Hmmm..This is just so bizarre to me
