My wife stayed home or worked part time nights so we didn't have to send our kids to daycare boyo.

In my 20's I did not make enough to have my wife stay home with the two kids.  She worked a couple of hours after I got home two nights a week.

It helped us appreciate what we have now.

For liberal policies I generally prefer where they are on the environment, health care, taxes, safety nets, and social issues. This current flavor of foreign affairs I prefer where the libs (and some conservatives) are.

Again, generally speaking I believe a functioning government is very important for society and we have one of the best systems. I like having two parties that differ on issues but work together to balance things. Right now we don’t really have this.
