The quality here seems the same. Sometimes you’ll get someone who over seasons the meat or cooks the sh!t out of it, but I don’t think the quality has changed much. :dunno: I probably don’t eat if often enough to really notice, though.

Yeah, well duh… Sonoma has some of the best restaurants in the country. Not that L.A. doesn’t have it’s fair share, but I live in the Valley and it a focking hassle going over the hill.

You've been over the hill for a while, No?

Well, if we’re going for sit down chain, I pick Eureka!. Their Fresno Fig burger is the bomb!

I'm sorry, when I can get a burger that's better at a sit-down restaurant for cheaper than I can get at one of the so-called fast food restaurants? The lines are officially blurred.

I prefer Red Robin, Applebee’s, etc to fast food. Fast food serves a purpose on road trip, or where I/we have less time for table service

I don't see red Robin. You'd think for a place that is entirely devoted to burgers, they'd be good at it, but I don't like theirs very much.

we were at a lacrosse tournament a week ago and hit red robin. it has been probably 10 years since I tried them. service was poor... but burger was not as good as i remembered. it could have just been that one, but still... the options made it better than FF

Sure, it's better than FF.

Their meat is ok. I don't like their buns. They are obviously far more concerned with how they look then how they taste or feel imo.

And yes guys, I see the obvious joke.

Red Robin is popular with our family.  I turned my kids onto the Royal burger (fried egg, bacon, cheese) and it was a hit.  Well, except the kid who is Vegan now.  :D

Anyone else have Fuddruckers?  That's my favorite fast casual burger, if we are expanding into that discussion.  Big, fresh burgers, buttery buns baked on site.  The best is the warm cheese sauce in the condiment section -- I love fake cheese and drown my fries and burger in it.

I remember having one in San Diego and liking it a bit.  Been a long time since we’ve been to one

Been to one many years ago. Don't even recall anything about it.

Fuddruckers was THE best hamburger restaurant.  Sadly, one day I ate the cajun chicken sandwich and never had a hamburger again.  Great fries also.

Fuddruckers used to be here in the Metroplex - but couldn't make it, went bust and pulled out.

5 Guys - not a fan. For one they're way overpriced, which goes to my 2nd point. What are they exactly? No drive thru windows, priced as sit-down restaurant burgers, yet the inside looks like a fast food dining place -  small, no tvs, no bar... I also don't care for their fries, always soggy and mush.

Believe it or not, Hooters actually makes a good burger - it's certainly better than the wings. If I'm going to have a sit down burger, I'm going there.
