I don't mind providing arms to the Ukrainians nor intelligence on Russian troop movement and the location of their generals and vital targets, I just don't like bragging about it. They should help quietly and shut their yappers. Twelve generals and a warship blown up.... STFU.... let the Ukrainians take all the credit. I dunno. Ukraine ended the Kiev assault and is doing a heck of a job of making it a pain in the ass in many other places. Determined locals on their home turf can fock over strong invaders and make them withdraw as we've seen many times in history and I think that is how this ends.

It's pretty obvious at this point that Russia isn't going to take the whole country, at least not anytime soon. They got their asses handed to them in the north, and their gains to create this land bridge have come at an incredible cost in terms of lives, equipment and morale. The only way they're making any small gains is to bomb and shell the crap out of a place and then take a small step forward. I don't see this as sustainable in the long run, much less than actually holding the turf for the long haul.

I saw an interview with a former U.S. general who has advised that Ukraine scrape up 40,000 troops, get them trained by NATO, properly arm them and then send them out to push out the Russians. 

We're witnessing what could go down as history's biggest military embarrassment. How anyone could not be rooting for Ukraine is baffling and shameful. So focking what if other former Soviet republics joined NATO. This attack on Ukraine underscores the necessity to do so. Russia just can't let other countries live in peace and freedom.

This was such a doosh move, and the world cannot tolerate this kind of thing.
